Did you give birth normally or by c-section? This is you're umpth? baby? If you delivered normally and you are actively breastfeeding, 2 months without much heavy exercise and proper diet - the fat goes away. But if its your 2-3rd baby, it needs exercise to go away like exercise an hour every other day in a gym a month or so after giving birth. If you gave birth by c-section, you'll have to wait 9-14 months before you can do strenuous (heavy) exercising because the stitches might not have healed well on the inside. Breastfeeding is a great way to lose fat you accumulate during the 9 months of pregnancy. Keep a good diet as well.

Congrats! Don't embark upon losing weight until you are done breastfeeding - you need extra calories for that.
