I faint for both of those reasons too. You aren't alone. When you have to have blood taken then tell the nurse that you pass out sometimes and to please watch you closely. The nurse will not let you fall. As for the sun trust that if you drink enough fluids that you are not going to faint. Learn to trust yourself.

You probably have low blood pressure - that is why you fainted so easily from dehydration - that means you should drink a lot of water and when you get up from a sitting or lying position you should do it slowly with your head downwards
some doctors would even say to take in more salt - but today everything is so processed drinking water is your best bet

Ok sounds like two things, maybe 3. Here goes. If you were in the sun you lost sodium from sweating and dieting. Drink Gatoraid... You may also have low blood sugar, but that may be from the dieting too, so be careful, and when you have blood drawn its either again low blood sugar (bneen there) or you faint from the needle, like a fear of some kind, I know many ppl like that.

Hey sweetie, I hope you're feeling better. I know dieting is the new trend...but you can eat the foods you like when you want, its how you eat them. Limit yourself. I can not stress how important drinking fluids are. Your body really needs to be hydrated. Did you know when you think you feel hungry that more likely it's because your body is really thirsty. Drink water and if you don't like water much...get does "singles on the go." They have all kinds of flavors and you can add it to your bottle of water. If you got to go walking...go during the evening. When there's less sun.
Take care sweetie.

Fainting is not really a problem. It is just your body's natural way of putting itself in a postiion where it is easier for it to pump blood to the head. If you're afraid of fainting, you might want to change your diet. It is natural when people give blood for them to faint because giving blood weakens your body.

Your feeling isn't as much physical as it is mental. Its called an aversion. It is a psychological problem that will go away but you have to be concious of it and try not to think about it when you are out side. Try taking a bottle of water with you outside, that way you know you won't get dehydrated again.

It seems you have a habit of not taking care of your body and getting dehydrated. Start taking better care of yourself and drinking lots of water. Once you do that you should be able to stop feeling like you might faint.

Okay just do not do it again and drink more fluids, you can also look away from the blood! If you have to distract yourself in some way!
