i don't want to be a nun, me and my friends were having a talking about them for some reason, thanks for all your help

I think it's 18, but the church usually tries to get girls at a very young age to sort of get started with becoming a nun (same with boys becoming priests). My dad went to a Catholic school as a kid, and the nuns and priests were always on the lookout for kids who felt that they had received a calling from God to become nuns or priests. My dad told me that there was this one girl who came in to school one day and told the teachers that she had received the calling to become a nun. They got really excited, and wisked her off to nun school later that day. My dad never saw her after that.

Listen, in South America I've met 15 year old novitiates. In USA, probably 16 or 17 to declare your intentions and start the process.
