This is easier than the oven:
Process:
1. Get four pieces of chicken out, a pan, and 4 cups of bbq sauce.
2. On medium heat, with pan on cooking area, put your bbq sauce in there, let it get warm a little.
3. Place the four pieces of chicken in the pan with the sauce.
4. Let cook for 25 to 30 minutes, or until chicken is all the way white through and through. Or doesnt have any pink areas in it as well.
5. Get off pan, and put on plate.
6. Enjoy.
7. If you want some more, just do the recipe again with the same ingredients, and as per how many chicken that your guests can eat.

BBQ sauce tends to burn because it has sugar in it. At the same time you want to have a crispy skin. If you are using 8 cut chicken, it usually take about 35 minutes to bake/roast. 1/4 cut chicken takes about an hour. Using a hot oven 400 degrees cook chicken for 15 minutes then check the color. If is getting to dark cover with foil. The hot oven will make the chicken skin more crispy but may burn keep an eye on it. Cover with foil once the color is desirable. All ovens cook differently. Once you are familiar with your oven and this recipe you will have an exact method.

Make sure you wash the chicken. When preparing wash your hands and the preparation area as their can be salmonella germs. Put in a deep roasting pot, and fill water up to the halfway mark of the chicken. It helps keep it moist and tender. Add spices. Put in pre heated oven at 325 . Depending on your oven, seeing as they will vary, I would let it cook for a couple of hours. I like my chicken crispy on the outside and juicy and the inside myself. I wouldn't baste it with BBQ sauce til the last 30 minutes or so. Make sure there is no trace of blood or pink, it is so important to make sure the chicken is cooked throughly or you can get very sick.

Bake the chicken on about 350-375 for about an hour depending on what pieces of the chicken you are baking. IIf I am using wings I like to bake them for about 20 minutes then put bbq sauce on them and finish baking them. At the end I broil them just to get a little crisp on top.
