In Mexico, it is used as an adjective in tree main forms:
- As a despective for homosexual man (Gay)
- To denote a coward.
- For promiscuos Gay man.
In the same phrase it can be (and usually is) used simultaneously in two or more meanings, for instance to denote a Gay man that doesn't dears to do something.
As far as i know, it is never used for a womanizer, that would be a "Don Juan" or "coqueto" (already a little Gay) or simply "Fresco".

Why you do not learn to write in English first?
Puto means a guy who likes to have several women at the same time or a man that is always trying to seduce women.
