More info needed. Remember that to lose weight, you have to make sure that your total output (energy used) is greater than total input (energy consumed). You could run everyday, but totally pig out and gain stomach fat.

If your goal is fat loss, while running, remember to stay aerobic. Run for at least 30 minutes and make sure you're not going too slow -- get your heart rate up. And vary your exercises so you don't burn yourself out. I know I would be bored to death on the treadmill everyday. Try swimming, the stair climber, the rowing machine, etc.

And finally, stick to it! Remember that different people lose fat in different places first. You may be knocking some junk off your trunk before that stomach starts to go down. Don't worry -- eventually, you will slim down all over.

Best of luck.

To be honest, it is going to take more than running/walking on a treadmill 6x a week to lost stomach fat. Your stomach is the main place that stores the most fat, so this means you would have to cut back or eat small servings of fatty, startchy foods (rice, potatoes, pasta). Also, doing sit ups and crunches (best on an empty stomach) will help burn the fat from your stomach. But, the treadmill is indeed good for burning fat from all over your body, but it takes additional work and lifestyle changes to actually BURN the fat, keep it off, and build ab muscles

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Running/walking the treadmill is good for cardiovascular exercise. If you want to get rid of stomach fat, you'll have to do sit ups, crunchs, pull-ups with your legs, etc and not JUST the treamill. Ask your gym instructor for good stomach exercises for muscles to replace the fat. 3 months on light exercise, less than 2 if you do it almost every other day. oh, and sweat it out... sweat is a great way to lose fat.

That all depends on your diet. I would recommend a healthy diet for your plan and needs. Take a picture of yourself now and again in 4 weeks to get your visual in mind.

I read that success in a weight-loss program is 85% diet and only 15% exercise and willpower. I believe this! If you eat sugar or white flours, cut them out, and you will lose weight in your stomach FIRST. Good luck!!

you're burning a few hundred calories each day. how many are you taking in each day? energy out must be more than energy in if weight is to be lost.....including basic metabolism also, of course.
