I take great offense that you refer to them as "pigs". Why so much disrespect for a truely fine animal? I want you to realize the alien butt-licking mutant traitors(coppers) are not anything like a "pig".

Truth is pigs are honorable, clean and intelligent, unlike any "officer". Further, real pigs are are reasonably pleasant to be around and never abused anyone. Consider also the fact that a pig becomes a hog at 100 lbs. When did you ever see one of those lazy, ignorant doughnut-sucking slobs weigh in at less?

From my in-depth research on the matter the closest resembelance between them is the traitors(officers) personality and a pigs excrement.

Perhaps, it would be best not to give them undue credit for being far more than they could possibly ever be and, begin refering to them as what they really are; TRAITORS!

To "Truyer" nobody meant to disrespect you and your love of the animals known as pigs. Oh the stories I bet your pigs could tell about what you do to them. However my man, my friends and I all work out two hours before or after shift each day. So let me ask you this Pig boy besides typing insults on here when was the last you exercised at all. Stop by colorado sometime and we'll discuss this in person. But probably not cause hiding online lipping off is usually all guys like you can do.

that pig you are referring to i hope is yourself. Police do a lot of work that they are un rewarded for . So you go pulled over is it the cops fault you were speeding ...you are fully aware of the laws stop being so stupid about them and they wont give you tickets...

think if you had to go to work as a corrections officer and you went behind bars every day and got feces and vomit and urine thrown at you or were shot at because some guy needs $20 out of the register......

I hope you really think when someone if attacking you or breaking into your house ...

WILL YOU LIKE THE POLICE THEN?
and i also do take offense to the reguard that all poice officers are in some way over weight...

Being at work and on the run all the time allows forr poor eating habits as well as the fact that i am in now way overweight what so ever??? in fact i am at peak passed all of my phsyical exams with flying colors have less than 10% body fat and could probably out run your overweight ***!

You say everything about them annoys you, yet, I would bet that if someone broke into your home, the cops would be the ones you called, or what if you were a parent who's child was kidnapped? Who would you call then? Who would be the ones up all day/night searching the hardest for him/her? Something to think about,,,,, btw, if you didn't break the law, you wouldn't have gotten a ticket

No skills, no class..

Lacking redeeming qualities that make a person likeable...

You're right....well, except for the fact that they risk their lives daily for people just like you. They leave their families everyday with the full knowledge and acceptance that they may not come back home.

They willingly take the verbal and physical abuse that comes with the job because they know its always going to be there, never changes.

They are called every name in the book, insulted, demeaned and assaulted every day by people just like you and yet...when all hell breaks loose, suddenly they are your best friends! Until the next time you get a ticket or get caught violating the law...then they are back to being the scum of the earth, again.

Car gets stolen? You call the police.

House gets broken into? You call the police.

Someone assaults you? You call the police.

Funny thing is, odds are that same officer who wrote you that ticket in the past could very well show up on your doorstep to help you. You won't even remember his name or his face but you'll be glad to see him and be thankful he's around.

Odds are good he'll remember you, the insults, the abuse you hurled but none of that matters. He will step in, step up and do the job he was called to do because that's just they way it goes.

Ask yourself this..could you do it? Could you be a cop, strap on the heavy responsibility of protecting life and property at full risk of your life every single day? Could you walk up to that car clocked at 80 in a 35, driving recklessly and have no idea just what's waiting behind that window? Is there a gun under the seat? A hunting knife the driver can't wait to bury in your gut? Do the occupants in the car know about the multiple warrants out for their arrest and are willing to do whatever it takes to avoid jail, ready to kill you in a heartbeat?

Could you do the job knowing that there are people out there that hate the badge you wear so much that killing you is sport? To work in a community that swears up and down that the only good cop is a dead cop? To know that any call you answer, any car you pull over could be an ambush waiting to happen?

Could you do the job knowing that no one gives a damm about the fact that you are a human being with a family, a life outside your job and you are simply doing your job when pull them over and write that ticket?

"Officer, I pay your salary!!" Thank you very much for the opportunity to protect and serve.

"Do you know who I am?!" No, I don't know who you are, what you have in that bag, what's under your seat and that's the whole point.

I don't know where you live but I am willing to bet most of the cops on your local PD will tell you the same thing I'm about to.

I wear my badge with the honor and respect it deserves, a strong sense of duty and with pride. I'm not anywhere near perfect but I do the best I can. I step up, step in and do what I can to make my little corner of the world a bit safer place to be...one day at a time. I am a human being who has seen the ugliness, cruelty and wrecklessness humanity is capable of. I have seen people at their worst and I have seen them at their best. I have stood on a doorstep and shattered families with just a few words, said I'm sorry and known that it's not enough and will never be enough to make their world ok again. I have gone home, looked at my sleeping child, safe and secure in her bed and cried for those families who won't get the chance to do that again. I go to bed, sleep the sleep of the haunted...then I get up and go out to do it all over again.

Why? Because I am a Police Officer and it's who I am and what I do.

For all the traffic violations that I committed, I really do respect officers of the law in that they get to deal with the scum of society at times and put their lives on the line for such low pay. Maybe if we all slowed down, they could deal with the real problems that face our society.

No, I don't. I live alone in a crummy little neighborhood in a big city...I've been there for ten years...safe and sound, because police officers are doing their jobs.

If you got a ticket, the police in your community were doing their jobs, keeping the streets safe from speeders. Keeping YOU safe from yourself.

Go pay your ticket.

I don't like the cops where I live. I live in Montgomery County where the sniper shooting took place. I can't stand these cops. They are a bunch of Di@ks. My father is a cop but I still don't like them.

you must have had a bad experience with that cop, for the most part they have been ok with me, especially the calif highway patrol. I do get annoyed when they pull me over just because I'm not wearing a seat belt but I don't give them a hard time about it.

OK I feel you, I hate poe poes too. Realizing that they are people deep down inside, somewhere, they have dedicated there lives to enforcing whatever there federal superiors tell them. For instance when the federal government wants more Arabs behind bars, Black people, or just want hippies beaten down they call up there pawns.
