WORLD CUP FANATIC - When you get older you'll understand that when we pay taxes we do not want that money to benefit people who are in the USA illegally. Many people in other countries are as poor as those sneaking across our borders. They must strive to survive in their own countries or manage to come here legally. We cannot allow people to break our laws due to lack of money. If we did that anyone could steal food and claim it was "to feed his family" and not get punished. We can't do that. The USA has laws that must be enforced unless you want to live in a USA that resembles Mexico. Thanks for your answer......Cher

Yes but we are doing it wrong! When undocumented aliens enter the US from our southern border, one of two things happens: If they are Mexican Nationals they are sent right back through the gateway. If they are from any other country, they are detained briefly then released into the US with an order to appear on a certain date and time for a deportation hearing. They cannot be sent back into Mexico because they are not Mexican citizens. They cannot be returned to their country of origin because their country will not accept them without their deportation documents.
As for those who are already in the US, if they are Mexican, we drop the ball, big time. We deport immediately across the border. The deportee hangs out in the border town until they can amass enough money from family and friends in the US to pay for the local coyotes. Within days they are back in the US. There is a way around this. We need to deport them back to their state of origin. Most come from very poor areas deep in Mexico. Telephone calling cards in those areas cost as much as $10 US dollars for 3 minutes of talk time. It's very difficult to contact people in the US when it cost that much. Also they would have the expense of traveling thousands of miles through Mexico to get back to the US border. In all it would cost the deportee $4000 to $5000 to get back into the US from their home as opposed to $1000 to $2000 from the border.
This may not stop the flow if illegal immigrants but it would certainly slow the process and help prevent the fast return of undesirables such as those who have recently been released from US prisons.

deporting illegals is not a solution. Giving them a fair shot and a chance in America is. This country's economy would be shot to hell with illegals. Contrary to popular beleifs all illegals arent here for sex traficing, or to be a terrorist (all the terrorist come from the canadian border) they come here for a better life, for a half decent home and money, which they DONT have in mexico. my old stepdad was mexcian (he was legal) and his dad came over the border illegally. He stayed here, he worked and he sent money back home to his family in mexico. Thats wat most of them do. So many immigrants come here illegaly because the cost 2 come here legally is soooooo enormous. And there is no point in deporting them because 2, 3 months later they just come back. And building a wall and putting national gaurd troops at the border isnt gonna help because there sooo determined to give there family a better life they will do anything 2 cross the border and they WILL cross the border. You people need to watch the movie "A day without a Mexican" then you can see how much Mexicans and immigrants affect our country POSITIVELY. Think about California, New York, Florida, Texas and Arizona without Mexicans and illegal imigrants. Who's gonna pick crops, wash dishes at resteraunts, fix your car, take care of your lawn. This country would be **** nothin without illegals and mexicans so **** u and everyone else who dosent like them.

it truly is unclear that illegals will be dealt with as some thing else than only low-cost labor. they enable agencies to carry more effective earnings margins and require no reward except time-honored pay. The unusual section about permitting them get entry to by ability of the U.S. is that ultimately the triumphing operating type will be procuring their healthcare and such. The libs are speedy to accuse all and sundry bold to regulate this infestation of racism, so it is going to develop right into a tricky difficulty besides. i'd stand in the back of someone or party that had the balls to carry all of it to a screeching halt. Did you also comprehend that purely 5 miles of border fence were built even however monies to construct over 500 miles have already been allotted?

I think that there is a gradual political response developing. I believe politicians who like their job are seeing that the American citizen wants action. I won't say that I would like to see all illegals removed from the country. However, I would like to see most removed. And don't think it can't be done. Go back an read how Eisenhower did it in 51 I think. He closed the border and rounded up the illegals very successfully. Another option I think should be considered. If the U.S. has to support Mexico, we should possibly annex about a third more of their land.

Yes it is happening. Happening in my town now.
Time for some to get legal as soon as they can.
Just like the people with double and more IDs on your post are getting found out. Not surprised to see them here. Check q&a when you get time-not hard to figure out.
Have a good day-good news week.

Thank you Cher, for the information.
It sure is beginning to look that way, perhaps all the e-mails sent to our government officials are getting through.
If they want to keep the raises they voted for themselves, lets make them earn it!
