I was at a happening bar on Saturday night. A girl started to flirt with me while I was buying a round. I asked her for her number, she gave it to me and that was about it. It was loud and hoppin, so we didn't do much talking, her friend had to help me spell her name because I was having a hard time hearing. I purposely butted up against her butt with mine before she started flirting with me. We were both having fun.

I had a guy I met call me the day after I gave him my number and that was fine with me! It was clear that he liked me and wanted to ask me out so there was no need for him to act "cool" with me as if he wasn't interested. It turned that we had completely different policital views which was a deal breaker for me but I still admired the fact that he was so straightforward with me. I get tired of trying to figure out what guys are thinking or want.

The 3 day rule is stupid.
If I give a guy my # it's because I WANT him to CALL me.
I expect a call the next day or the day after (he might be busy or have a hangover) ...
If she gave you her number she is thinking about you and wants you to call.

i think its obvious from all the answers that no one really knows the appropriate amount of time. I would just call today and have an excuse that you have been busy in case she asks what took so long. but who really knows, most dating advice is bs cause its different strokes for different folks !!!!!!!!!
