Maybe you are thinking about it all wrong... Maybe he didn't make you that way. Maybe it's a choice.... but of course you won't see it that way.

God did not make you that way. I think people are prone to different sins such as deceitfulness, short temper, etc. I think people also become prone to homosexuality. The difference is that w/ other sins, we are taught to fight it and overcome it because it is bad. W/ homosexuality, it is perceived as a way of life and therefor nobody tries to overcome it.
I really do understand that it is a huge struggle for you, but it is something that we must try and overcome.
1 Corinthians 10:13
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful, he wil not let you be tempted beyong what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

Why do you believe God looks down on you? Don't believe everything you see and read. You are the same as anyone else. Remember, that when you die, if you have lived a good life...your life and not someone Else's, you will get a chance to ask God him or herself why people say things like that. Try to be happy and be nice to others. Help out the seniors citizens and help children to learn. (I am not gay by the way. I am just trying to lead by example for my daughter that she should be nice to everyone.)
That bible thing...that's just someones interpretation of what they want it to say. You read read it and come up with what is right for you. Peace!

How do you know that God looks down on you for being gay? I'm gay but I don't feel that way. It's just the frumpy schmucks around here who think they can speak for God and condemn people like us. I'm pretty sure that if you asked God himself, you'd get quite a different answer than your getting now. Just ignore those hypocrites and be the best person you can be, no matter if your gay or straight. That's all God wants.

Homosexuals argue that they did not make a conscious decision to be that way, so it must be natural. They are born that way—just as all of us are born with a sin nature and sinful desires (Ephesians 2:1– ). Tell them that it is natural for them, and for all of us, to be tempted to do things that God says are wrong. In the same way, pedophiles and adulterers (alcoholics, drug addicts, etc.) don’t make a conscious decision to "choose" that self-destructive lifestyle, they simply give in to their sinful desires. However, although sin is natural for unbelievers, that doesn’t mean God wants them to remain that way. God can set them free from their sinful nature (Romans 7:23–8:2), give them new desires (Ephesians 4:22–24), and help them withstand temptations (1 Corinthians 10:13). See 1 Corinthians 6:9– 1 footnote.

How do u know that God condems you? During Jesus time in this earth he did challenge people who has not sinned to throw the stone to the prostitute.
This is just society condemning you not God....
Just remember the golden rule : As long as you don't hurt others and yourself you are on the right side of the track.
God has compassion for these people without looking whatever sex you have

okay first of all i'm not gay myself but i don't think you are condemned, here's why:
We as humans are sinful, so God sent his only son Jesus to die for our sins, we as humans couldn't follow the old testament where it does say that homosexuality is not a favorable thing with God, that's when Jesus comes and the New Testament begins along with Christianity, not once does Jesus mention anything about homosexuality, in fact he preaches one thing "LOVE" i'm not saying that the old rules (old testament) were difficult but many people couldn't live that way so in a way our standards as humans were lowered when Jesus came cause with him came the New Testament and he never mentions anything about being gay as a sin, what he says is love one another no matter what and if deny this you deny Him. i don't mean love someone in a sexual way but just know that the people who do this so-called "gay bashing" is actually looked at more badly than a gay person is. i hope i explained it right, i'm pretty bad with words.

God did not make you gay. Homosexuality is a sin, as is lying, cheating, stealing, etc. It is a choice, one which you may have been given a tendency to make the way you have, but completely a choice. It is a temptation which some people are more likely to fall into (some people are more apt to become liars, adulterors, thieves), but God did not MAKE you gay.

God looks down on everyone for everything.
You could say the same about ALL sins.
Look at the garden of eden story. God knew what was gonna happen before it happened, but punished the human race anyway.
Are you really going to worry about what some guy who plays sicko stunts like that thinks of your lifestlyle? I wouldn't if I were you.

How do you know god looks down on you? Just because some book written by men says so? Because some pastor says so?
Maybe it's people doing the looking down rather than a god.

i don't think God really looks down on you as a bad person I just think that it really is more of a choice to be gay although some gays do say if they had a choice they would rather be straight so sometimes i wonder if gayness is almost like a disoreder. so hope i helped. u can e-mail me back.
