Sounds odd, but the thing that works best is anything that has tomato or tomato based products in it. Such as tomato soup (works for me every time!), or pasta w/ sauce. The acids in tomatoes actually counters the acids built up in your stomach from the hangover. Think about it, for years, people have been drinking Bloody Marys, and it's not just for the "hair o' the dog" either. Trust me, tomato based foods really work.

There are two things that I have heard of that help. The first being Menudo, a mexican dish with tripe and hominy, and you add the condiments to it as you like. Secondly , I heard to drink the same drink you drank the night before. The best solution is to stop drinking before you get to the position of needing a remedy for a hangover. Its not worth that feeling to me.

ALL EARS PLEASE,
this actually works but you'll have to try it next time.... when you drink alcohol and want to avoid a hangover simply have some milk when your done drinking. (half a cup will do it). and TRUST me it works better than anything.
and yes, no matter how drunk you get.
try it guys! you'll enjoy drinking knowing you can avoid the hangovers!

This one is tough. If I am sick enough to get a hangover, I am puking all day and night. Popsicles, Coke, Sprite, Soup. My main remedy is to just keep eating and puking until I feel better.

Icy cold watermelon. Trust me I know; after getting drunk on over 30 shots this was what helped me the next day. I had this for breakfast at 8:00am and by 9:00am I was on the beach.

When I used to drink, I would take an asprin before I went to bed and if that didn't help the next moring, which it usually did. I would have a "RED BEER" (tomato juice and beer). If you don't want to go that route. A big breakfast if you can stomach it.

Hot, Spicy Mexican Menudo (Beef Tripe) always does the trick for me. 2 hours later one is ready to hit the sauce again

Banannas replace potassium, and tomato juice replaces most of the rest (if you can stomach it). My main remedy: 2 daily vitamins, a handful (4) advil and about a gallon of water or gatorade.
