How about a trip somewhere that has a brewery tour? Or, maybe one of those make your own beer kits (not the cheap plastic ones in kmart though)? When in doubt, the gift of beer is always well appreciated.. ..I know I'd always be happy w/ that!

A lot of big cities have places where you can go to brew your own batch of beer. Find a really good one that lets him be a part of the entire beer making process and then buy him a gift certificate to brew a batch there.

Also, try going to a couple places where they take back empty bottles and buy a couple cases worth of empty heiniken (or any other type that doesn't have a screw off cap) for him to bottle his new batch of beer in. It's a lot nicer than using the plastic bottles that some places supply.

Go with the kegerator. My girlfriend got me a subscription to a beer of the month club, and it was good sometimes, but half the time it was not very good beer with funky labels. You get no choice in what beers you get.

The kegerator will keep him happy, keep him home, and impress all his friends. You'll be the best girlfriend ever.

Look around for a unique imported beer. Stella-Artois is a Belgium compnay that has a number of really good, unique beers.

A kegerator is always a good choice for the beer loving individual. It can keep kegs for up to a month.

Depending on what type of beer he likes, I would get a six-pack of either imported or a micro-brew of that type. If he drinks only Budweiser, I'd get another boyfriend.
