It's very true that everyone gets anxious about something once in a while, Jessica. But like Twin B said, if it interferes with the rest of your life then it's a problem. A little fear of things that are truly dangerous is healthy: It keeps us from hurting ourselves. But when we start fretting over things that won't happen with a little sensible caution, it's time to step back and put things into perspective. If you can't alone, a counsellor might be able to help you.

Good luck!

Anxiety is part of one's life. As long as one takes it lightly, it should come and go without one bothering about it. The moment one begins to worry and feel being nervous about something, then it hangs around and makes one worry about that worry and this will go on for ever. So, to avoid turning it into a problem, one ought to first treat anxiety as an inevitable part of one's daily life and consider it just like many other things happening in one's life - good and bad!
