Without the Lord life is gray and tasteless without flavor. God I ask you to touch the hearts of those you don't know you...that want to but they've been blinded by the evil one...In the name above all names "JESUS" we ask that you break this stronghold..now Lord..let them seek & find..let everyone who doesn't know you be touched even as they read this..just then..a spark..a light..a moment...break it Lord...let them fall to their knee's and ask to know you..and you will meet them. Lord many want to but they fear they've gone to far...let them know God they have not...let them not believe the lie's told to them by the evil one...fill them God right now in the name of Jesus...I pray this is the name above all names "JESUS"

Amen. A life without God is a meaningless life.

My life has more meaning WITHOUT god than it ever did when I was forced to believe. I saw hypocrites praying for forgiveness, dropping some money in a basket, and then going right out to sin some more until the next Sunday. Because they knew they'd be "saved".

I listened to people tell me how great this unseen god was and I'd watch as people were killed by hurricanes and other "natural" disasters. When I questioned it people said, "Just accept it because god works in mysterious ways."

So here's my thoughts:

You want me to believe in a god who let his only son die.
I believe in a more compassionate supreme being.

You say I'm a heathen for not believing the way you do.
I believe you have an absolute right to be different from me.

You want the whole world to share your beliefs.
I believe in fee will (BTW - isn't that what your god supposedly gave everyone?)

I remember when I was a believer, I had a really awful concept of atheists, my parents, apart from indoctrinating me with religion, indoctrinated me about how atheists are the worse kind of humans that could be around.

Now that I am an atheist, I'm sure a good portion of believers have no clue what it is to be an atheist and what life is for an atheist. Gray and tasteless? Not a bit.

I disagree heartily. Without the blinders of religious faith, life is FAR from gray and tasteless! It is only your pastors that teach you drivel like that, in order to keep 'believers' from honestly searching for the real truth. Try to wake up if at all possible.

Excuse me? My life is not meaningless and I believe in god about as much as I believe in Santa Clause. I have friends and family who love me and care for me and I care for them, I've got responsibilities, I've got plenty of things to do, plenty of knowledge to attain and pass on. I'll have you know that my life is very fulfilling. As a matter of fact, it's been a lot more fulfilling since I stopped believing in god. My life is much more fulfilling than all the Bible thumpers I know who have nothing better to do than try to push their stupid beliefs on others, much like you are doing. I'm not telling you to stop believing in god, just to leave me the **** alone for not believing in him.

Amen!- i think you should stop posting prayers, might start an argument. Even without God, humans will find a meaning to everything.

It never ceases to amuse me how people who are religious think they know what it's like not to be religious. Their assessment is almost universally bleak, surprise, surprise.

Has it not occurred to you that when speaking of something outside your experience, perhaps you should ask those who HAVE experienced what you are assessing, rather than merely assuming you know everything?

GOD is everywhere and within all things. so yes without the acknoledgement of god everywhere and in all, there is no purpose. To find purpose you must realize and accept this even within yourself. Isn't it known that we are created in his image therefore you must accept this inside to portray it outside.
