I've recently (in June) moved to California from Virginia and I would like to attend a college. I Do have the FAFSA but keep hearing/reading about Cal grant. My question is how long does it take to in order to be eligible for Cal grant? A year or more?

Appreciate all answers & many thanks in advance! :)

You need to have proof of at least one year of residence in the state. This usually means opening a bank account, having mail address, getting CA drivers license. When I moved to California, I did it in August, so that by the second year I had reduced tuition.

Why is it ok for a California to disclaim its very own electorate CAL ingredients yet then supply those ingredients to illegals? because of fact the left runs California. The left would somewhat cater to and help an unlawful immigrant first, then to cater to and help a criminal american citizen. Left wing politicians scouse borrow our tax funds to assist people who're no longer individuals, whilst they deny individuals an identical rights and centers. of their strategies, an american citizen can arise with the money for it, whilst the unlawful immigrant won't manage to. so they supply illegals all varieties of particular rights and privileges at tax payers price. no count if illegals can arise with the money for it or no longer is carefully irrelevant. those human beings are no longer individuals. that's not their united states of america. they do no longer look to be entitled to something.
