ALWAYS remember that God loves you, no matter what. We are all sinners. No one is better than the rest. And we can only hope to be with God by trusting in Him and the miracle of Jesus.

For the most part, I try to avoid making statements like "religion is a bunch of rubbish." Then again, for the most part, I don't feel the need to.

If you believe in God, then that is up to you. However, I promise you that if He exists, He does not hate you for being gay.

Take what you need from religion (e.g. love your neighbor, the golden rule, etc.) and discard that which has clearly been inserted by the prejudices of man.

The religious "Authorities" know no more about God than you do. Look for answers within. You are not going to Hell.

Jesus taught that the persecuted and the oppressed shall be rewarded in the next life. Try to take comfort in this and take pity on the small minded fools who cannot accept you for who you are.

There is nothing wrong with being gay; it is not considered a mental illness. Perhaps you could use some professional counselling to get rid of your guilt feelings. And if God made you Gay, and condemns you for it, that makes Him some kind of a hypocrite, doesn't it? If you look around, you can probably find some congregation that will accept you just as you are.

God did not make you gay! If you do not like yourself being gay, its easy to change that up. Being gay anymore is a normal way of life. To some people its the worst thing in the world but to others its ok. If that is the way you are and you like your life that way then dont worry about what others think. If you go to church and others look at you different dont pay attention to them. You are not going to hell because you tend to like or love someone of the same sex.

Well if you honestly look at Grace in Christian theology. Whether or not you are a Homosexual is meaningless. Just believe in Jesus and you are saved, all humans are sinful and cannot be righteous. And as Martin Luther says:

"God does not work salvation for fictitious sinners. Be a sinner and sin vigorously.... Do not for a moment imagine that this life is the abiding place of justice; sin must be committed."

Umm....get over it. Don't let any religion eat you up inside, you are just playing along with the game if you do. Free yourself from the guilt. You'll be a much better person and enjoy life to the fullest. Be gay and proud!

God doesn't make you homosexual. I know it may feel like it, but you weren't born gay. Homosexual attractions are the result of a number of sociological and psychological factors. http://www.narth.com may have some information to help you understand it better. Remember, having homosexual attractions isn't sinful, that's temptation, indulging in them and engaging in homosexual behavior is sinful. You may struggle with it all your life, but with Christ you can avoid sin. You have God's and my compassion and love.
