Maybe in 20 MILLION years! When has that clown algore EVER been right about anything?

Are we all going to die of cancer within the next 20 years? No. Not all of us. But unfortunately, too many of us will. Al Gore is right about global warming. The problem is, others have been broadcasting the message for years, and no one pays any attention any more. It's like Chicken Little saying 'The Sky is Falling!' People hear it too often, and disregard the warning, and then the sky does fall, and everyone is shocked.
There is so much we could be doing to help, and so much we have to do to turn this around. But where to start? How to make an impression? Maybe Al Gore was right in going on Yahoo, and maybe he can encourage enough people to think about the problem, and then to start acting.
It would be nice to think that we'd still be here hundreds of years from now.

Do I agree with Mr.Gore? Nope, and I am not sorry.

Yes, global warming is an concern. But it has been a concern for decades. They were talking about it in the sixties.

Should humans be smarter in how they care for the planet? Yes!
I am not saying we should all become tree huggers, but we could be smarter in our consumptions of natural reasources for many reasons including financial!

While some people will die of cancer in the next 20 years. The human population will not be wiped out by cancer, especially cancer related to global warming. I think we stand a great risk of a nuclear holocaust than the whole world dying of glabal warming induced cancer.

I don't think Al Gore said anything about us dying from cancer in 20 yerars. He did say that given current trends in CO2 increases in the atmosphere and temperature increases and climatic change, it is likely that in the next 50 - 100 yrs we'll lose the Greenland icepack, the arctic, and the West Antarctic. This would be enough to raise sea levels over 40 feet. That would directly effect something like a billion people around the world.

No. If you take a look at the facts as presented by ALL of the reputable scientists, global warming is no more of an issue today than the global freezing warnings on the early 1970's.

Go to the library, get and read the book Silent Spring by R. Carson.
It was written over 20 years ago. Therein you will find wisdom.

Didn't read all the replies, perhaps someone else already mentioned this:
1998 was the earth's hottest year on record. It's been cooling down since then.
Well, he did create the internet, maybe he's just one for one right now.
