like when he walks or runs his butt seems to go 1 way n his other part of body seems to go another way is this normal for a german shepherd? it looks like hes running sideways

I would not think that is normal. You probably have seen other GSD have you seen these running sideways? I have never seen that. Could be a spine probably and any number of other things. You should have it check out by the vet.

Dogs that run like that usually have fronts and rears that are not in balance. It is the easiest way for him to move. Not good for a show or working dog, but it will not affect him as far as being a good pet.


You do not need a Vet to tell you your dog is not balanced, most would not have a clue as to what you are even talking about.

Yes this is normal. It is called dog tracking. I don't know why it happens, but it does. Good luck
