Yes, I did have quite a few sessions with different psychics before. So far, all of them just gave me whole bunch of B.S. that never happened.

Everyone is psychic to some degree, and the skills can be developed. Psychic senses parallel the physical senses. Clairvoyance is the visual psychic sense. Clairaudience is aural. Clairsentience is feeling. Claircognisance is knowing.
Discretion is needed when consulting a psychic. Not all psychics are as psychic as they claim to be.
Also, anything prophetic that is said is not written in stone. Outcomes can be changed by the intent of those involved. If a psychic tells you that something is going to happen, the implication is that this is what will happen if the circumstances surrounding the event don't change. If the circumstances are changed, the outcome will change.

I had a pretty funny experience with the "psychics" once. There was an employment ad in the newspaper for a "psychic reader", so when I called to inquire, they informed that they didn't expect you to actually have any psychic ability, they would train you to be a psychic. So no, I don't believe they are for real - it's all a sham.

Psychics are frauds. I don't know if they actually think they are psychic or not, but the number of physical laws that would have to be broken in order for someone to read someone's mind or read the future or whatever is so staggering that it's not even worth considering.
A much, much better explanation for psychics is that they're good at cold reading.
Also, when people hear predictions, they look for excuses to believe them. This is called confirmation bias.

Yes, I definitely believe in them and I go to one about once a month. She always tells me stuff that's right. My mother got me interested in them. When my mom was 19 she went to a psychic and they once told her that she was going to break up with her fiance and marry somebody from a "far away land". My mother didn't believe her because she had been with this guy for like 6 years. Sure enough, a few years later, my mother didn't have feelings for him anymore so she dumped him and then that's when she met my dad. My dad is American and he was in Brazil working for the peace corps and my mom is Brazilian so that's what she meant by "far away land" I guess. My mother told me some other stuff about her that came true, but a few years later she died. The psychic was already very old, but definitely wise. I've had some accurate experiences with them as well.

You are a believer, but tempt making excuses. Is it coincidence or pschic phenomena? There are exotic forces in the universe which most people can tune into but ignore. It takes a position in life to gain a psychic perspective. Our animal nature interfers with the ability to dial in. The skills can be taught or they can be a natural talent. One needs to be open to the possibility of forces which transend our reach. When a thought manifests something we are left with nothing to explain. Where do we put the credit? Is it something we can harness and make useful?

Pschics are mostly charlatans though there are some Institutes that have been conducting research on psychic abilitlies that are deemed latent in humans and animals.
Check out the sites on this subject for more details.

All the best.

It was only 25 bucks a session and we were their well over 4 hours. it was amazing, definitely raised a few hairs

Psychics are frauds... anyone who touts them self as a "true" psychic is coning you.
Mentalism is a very simple trick, just about anyone can do it if they learn the psychology behind it and practice.
There are several methods many of them use, one ahead, cold/warm reading are just two of the most common.
