I would tell them that actions speak louder than words.

I would tell him that if every person had to commit suicide for the problems he had. There would be none left in this world. Everyone has problems but the thing is how to deal with it. He should think about all the people in the world who live on with just 1 meal a day. He should think about all the things he has that others don't and be happy for it.

How about the truth? To commit suicide is to interfere with one's Fate Karma, and this brings a very heavy penalty. First of all one's MIND/Soul shift into a sub-Astral region, where one is aware of what is happening on the physical plane, but one cannot be seen, nor heard, and one remains there for the remaining time was intended to live. At that point, one goes before judgement and must explain the reason for such interference. Then one must enter a learning situation which will "permanently" remove the idea of suicide from one's MIND.

An example would be to wake up and take a knife and kill oneself, suffering the pain and anguish such an act entails... then everything goes black, and one wakes up again and does the same deed again, and this repeats itself for several decades. Finally one is introduced back into the flow of life, but with a very different reaction to the idea of suicide.

I would tell them to do exactly the same thing I did! See a Spychiatrist every three months and a Therapist every month. For as long as it takes. Conentrate on their needs until they are well! It took me seven years, but I finally realized what the problem was. The most precious things in life are your family (even the ones you don't get along with), getting to know other people, learning something new everyday, and learning more and more about yourself.

Having been in this sucky situation more than once, I stopped trying to convince him it is a bad idea. Rather, I learned to take charge and make sure everyone is absolutely safe. I would ask, "Are you safe? Am I safe with you? Tell me your plan." then I take all the firearms and the children to the neighbor's house (he's a hunter), take the keys to his car and warn him that I will call the police to take him and lock him up if he doesn't stop this nonsense, which I've done, btw. Sounds harsh, but we're dealing w/life and death, and I can't suddenly make someone feel so much better about himself that he's going to give up on his suicidal idea. When everything has blown over, that's when we can talk about the sanctity of life, etc.

"Who will be the first to find your dead body?"

To commit suicide's a very selfish decision that will hurt people who love you, deeply and irreversibly. It's also an aggressive act. Suicide won't solve anything. You'll just be dead. Lots of people will suffer instead of you.

Ask yourself why you're so po'd and at whom. Try to solve that issue first.

If you still want to commit suicide after considering the above, it's your choice and I'm very sorry you couldn't come up with anything better. If you hesitate, seek help and advice.

It's Their choice! Believe me If I had the courage that it takes to get off this world, I would go for it. But no, sorry no, I'm a coward I cant go through the pain to pass from this world. Even though I endure the pain of this world. Constant, suffering hour by hour day by day. Regular people could not know the pain and suffering that we go through. To them life is wonderful. Walk a mile in my shoe, the souls are thin and life is felt with every step.

I would tell them to think about someone besides theirself. Suicide is a selfish act. What about their family and friends? How would you feel if someone you loved commited suicide? I think most people are just looking for attention. I have no sympathy for them.

Tell them that they are just having a tough time and it will get better and it is not worth commiting suicide for.

suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

I'd give them a suicide hotline number and hand them the phone, and tell family, or even the police if need be.

Life is precious, unique, a mystery and CAN be wonderful.

Life is everything, could you imagine never eating your favorite food again, never seeing your closest friend again, never having a crush again and the feeling you get when you first start dating someone you like, never hearing a child laugh again, never hearing your favorite song again, but most of all never knowing what you could have gotten out of life if you stuck around to see it.
