My best friend is in a relationship with this really hot girl. His parents are loaded I am talking hamptons loaded. He lives in a humble apartment and drives a decent car. He's been with her 4 months and she wants to meet his parents. When this happens the secret will be out. Should he tell her in advance? Suprise her? Or hold off on introducing her to his parents?

I would have the parents and girl meet first on neutral grounds. get an idea of who she is by how she talks and interacts with his parents. also, see what his parents say about her, and what their impression is.

My best advice is neutral ground first, tehn see how it goes for a few more months before he tells her. its also good that he REALLY knows who she is, and can trust her. you never can tell these days who is after what and how.

women can be deceitful (so can men!) and you want to make sure she isnt in it for some cush livin

good luck to your friend.

There's no need to tell someone about the parents financial status. If she accepted him with his humble home and car then she should be ok with his parents home. If he's ready to introduce her to the folks then so be it, better to find out what her true character is sooner than later. Give the girl the benefit of the doubt not all of us are gold diggers.

Don't tell her anything. Most of them are evil gold-diggers anyway. A friend of mine keeps a separate flat, a rather slummy one, and a beat up car. He uses these things to weed out the gold-diggers. It's surprising how many never call once they see what he drives or where he lives. Superficial about the car...sad really.

I would simply tell him not to talk about it. The portfolio of the parents isn't really at issue here. It is his confidence in himself and his relationship. He will always need to be aware that some may want him for the money. But if he can't tell the difference between those who do want him for the money and those who want him for just himself...well, then he has bigger problems to deal with.

I would simply suggest he not make any big deal about it.

they have only been together for 4 months... i dont see a reason for her to meet his parents yet. I think it is too soon for themeet the parents thing. And about being rich, he should wait until he knows he can really trust her and that he is going to be with her for a while!

Well, he's not rich his parents are. I know, I know that's just semantics. Well, I would probably tell her a few days before she was going to meet them. It will give her time to prepare to meet them comfortably. After all, if you are going to have her meet mom & dad it is to be a serious relationship, right?

It's not relevant to the relationship so why bother? Also just because his parents are wealthy doean't mean a thing. It's what HE makes with HIS life that's most important, not what daddy & mummy have already accomplished with theirs.

Tell her in advance. when he tells her he should explain why he waited so long to tell her. Like, " I didn't want u to think differently by just wanting me for my money" and Ive been in relationships before in which i was used".

Tell the truth...every woman bases a relationship strength on that. She isn't there for the move cuz she doesn't know he has it. If she cares about him the $$$ doesn't mean squat!
