If she rejected you once why would you ask her again. Anytime would be fine if you like rejection. Or simply just ask her to hang out sometime and see what she says.

Um, I'd let it go at that point. Saying next time probably means she figures you will be too embarrassed to ask again, so she didn't have to flat out say no.
