Powerhouse, Sugar, Twist and Camp David around Times Square have a lot of gay people, but if you just head into town and head to the 'hip' shops, especially for clothes, then there's a massive gay population in Newcastle.
My two best mates are gay and have had no problem finding themselves handsome young men. Sadly, finding a straight date for myself seems to be a lot more difficult!
