At 22 your an adult and not eligible for adoption any longer. Adoption is only for children who are minors under the law...meaning 17 and under.

If you are 22, then you are of legal age. Why do you need "adopting"? I am just curious about the circumstances.

If your over 18, your considered an adult. Doubt adoption would be an option.
