NO friendship is worth loosing a good friend over! Just back off find another man to give your attention to. I am sure that if your friend and the guy do get together they will be broke up in 6 months. She is your friend first. The fact is she should not date him ether, out of respect for you, but you should be the better person and help to keep your friendship going. Good luck.

I have a rule with my friends that I don't go after a guy that they are already interested in...way too many fish in the sea for that type of drama. If you had him first then she should back off, or vice versa. Otherwise, how solid is your friendship if you let a guy that probably won't be around tomorrow come between you two?

How can you lose a friend (a real friend) over a boy (not a man) that you just like? Has he been there for you like your friend? Do he got your back, like your best friend? I doubt it. You don't even know this guy!! And you are willing to risk a good friend over him? That is crazy! He ain't even your boyfriend. Grow up little girl. There are many more guys out there that your friend does not know. Find One. Let her have him.

try talking to her. the boy you like may not even like either one of you, so you are losing her over nothing. this has happened to me before. Me and my friend both liked this guy at the same time, but i knew that if he had asked me out, i would have asked her first, or had just said no. make sure that if either one of you gets asked out, the other is ok with it.

Okay what you need to do is sit down and talk to your best friend b/c you shouldn't lose a friendship over a guy...that's pathetic. You need to talk about what's going on between the 2 of you and try and work it out..don't let a guy come between your friendship

OK, I'll help--LET HIM GO! What--is his like the last pair of shoes on the sale rack?

Why are you interested in a boy that's less than excited about you? Go find one that will jump over chairs to get to you and leave the others alone.

Has she told u this? If no, then confirm it first. If yes, then I'm sure y'all can talk it out and reach a compromise (you'll are FRIENDS after all!). From what I gather, none of y'all are goin out with the guy, so its not that bad a problem. You'll get guys a dime a dozen! But real friends are a dozen dimes each!

Is the boy worth breaking your friendship? Real friends do not fight about things less important than their friendship. Both of you may forget the boy eventually and wonder why you fell for such silliness.
