People do what they want now days. They don't care what is a sin anymore. All they care about is what makes them feel or look good at the time.
Lily said her mother was pregnant and lied to the pasture but it wasn't a sin. This is a perfect example of people being in denial. Sex outside of marriage and lying are both sinful acts.
