Because religion is an "art".
Now, if only people would see it that way!

There are more inaccuracies/inconsistencies in Theology and that's exactly why we've so many religions. They all interpert those differently...It's how to belive that creates so many religions. Of course they all supposedly believe in the same God (if there is one). PEACE!

If you mean contradictions and unknowns in religious doctrine, yes. But I think it is intentional. Each religion want to set themselves apart from the others,so they create these 'obscurities" in order to make it difficult for outsiders to join. It is tribalism. It is human nature.

There are plenty of GREY areas in Theology. Jesus himself said that he came to fill out some of the grey areas in the Jewish theology. Mohammed brought his people back to their roots of the One True God. To me, there is only one true Trinity, and that is the Father (Judaism), the Son (Christianity) and the Holy Spirit (Islam).

your question doesn't really make sense...theology is not specific to one religion...and there are obscurities in all of them (my personal opinion)

Every religion will deny their ambiguities and claim that they know the TRUTH, while millions of other are just hopelessly misled. The bible, and every other religious text, is so old and interpreted in so many ways that you can get it to say just about anything you want it to.

I don't see how more than one religion indicates "obscurities."

People grab onto one thing in the Bible, or in any so called religious book, and make that the whole basis for their belief system. It's the message that gets screwed up

Because people want to write their own doctrines and laws so they can live life however they want to instead of following Gods doctrine and laws.
I detest denominations because of that.
