wat type of people u looking for? real life people or virtual friendship?
For virtual Friendship? Just stick yr butt to d pc and get connected to the net. Check dating sites and chat room, message boards...
For the past 4years? i got about i had about 6serious relationship
thru the net. Well, all reali serious wher we got involve very emotionally. Even exended to fone calls and txt messages.
Two of which turn to real life LOVE story, well shud i say fairy tail?
i misbehave with the first one bt with d second one, im gettin married in a few weeks, hopefully.
Real Lile Friendship, Get off yr *** and check places like, clubs, pubs, lets say entertainement areas.I personnally dnt trust Clubs
and pubs. Bt Movies, parks, playgrounds shoppin ... are real cool.

I would try to join an activity that you enjoy. Some examples might be:
volunteering (volunteer.org) <---you can search your city
reading/book group
art class
exercise membership
community adult education classes, they offer everything from history to cooking classes, exercise and recreation.
If you belong to a church, join in on their activities they are always welcoming.
If you want to know your neighbors, bake cookies or cupcakes and take them over!
If you are looking to meet the opposite sex, you could always try singles meetings in your area. Usually there is a meet and greet or other activity planned.
Use resources such as your city community center, community news paper, yellow pages or try an Internet search such as digital city and your city name to see whats going on!

Get off the computer right now, and go somewhere like a gym, a store that does social events like an pottery place, or a cultural area like a museum or aquarium. Talk to people.

You can go to any chat rooms such as Yahoo! Chats or just meet new people here in Yahoo! Answers. Some users have their contact feature available so you can ask them to add you to their Messenger or you can ask them for their ID.

Carry a tennis ball with you and throw it over a bridge. Make sure no one sees you do this and then scream "OH NO!!! MY DOGGY!!!" When people run up to see what happened tell them your dog jumped over the bridge after the tennis ball and is somewhere in the water.
Plenty of people will want to be your friend and console you.
