Homosexuals help each other get through the turmoils of life and share joys in the same way wives and husbands do. Pedophiles destroy the lives of the child they molest. Even if you want to say they are both sins against God, they are not comparable in any sense except that they both involve who you want to sex with.

It doesn't matter about comparability because either way it's unnatural and a sin against God.

I wouldn't compare the two, however it is true that homosexuality is a sin, as it's a perversion of God's gift of sex. He intended it to be used within marriage between a man and a woman. I hate pedophilia (sp?) and homosexuality as both are destructive (note: as a Christian, I hate the behaviors, not those who participate in them, important difference). Abuse destroys a child's sexuality and can actually be a determining factor in developing homosexual attractions, in a study I read, 52% of homosexuals reported being abused. Also, homosexuals have a much higher instance of STD's bc they are usually promiscuous, another paper I read reported that of the homosexuals interviewed, less than 3% were monogamous.

A lot of religious zealots seem to forget the "judge not lest ye be judged yourself" part of the bible when it's convenient. It's easy for them to look down their nose and say other people are going to hell, but they dismiss the most important message of God which is to love one another.
As for comparing homosexuals to pedophiles, that is a heinous comparison, perhaps they are fixated on all those Catholic priests that molest little altar boys? THOSE men ARE both, if they want to lump two usually unrelated things together.

Homosexuality has nothing to do with pedophilia. Suggesting otherwise has no basis in reality. Statistically speaking, some gays will be pedophiles. But so will some heterosexuals.

It just shows the lack of compassion they have that they can refer to both groups as sexual deviants as if they are the same. Insensitive to both homosexuals who as a group don't hurt anybody and the victims of molestation many of whom were molested by devout xtains. But NO that can't actually happen a REAL god-fearing christian wouldn't do that would he? Maybe he was possed by a demon and that makes it OK. But gays they go to hell becasue they like it and its who they are. Honestly I don't know how these people live with themselves.

Most pedophiles are probably closet homosexuals. The say that the most sex offenders are heterosexual. But, I don't believe that. When many of the homosexual left wing organizations pushing to lower the sex age of consent. You wonder if the majority of sex offenders keep there sexuality to themselves. They don't wont to tell the truth that some-are gay.
You be surprise with left wing media bias helps the gay community. Gay movement is not the Civil rights movement. I'm sick and tried of homo left wing extrema gay movement. There destroying moral fabric of our country. And it's getting worse by the day. Just look at them dance it the streets. Were young and queer and taking over the world!!! I am Christian and don't think that.
I think it's more a question of being informed or uninformed rather than being Christian and supposedly having that opinion.
I've never heard of people confusing those two terms. Like I said informed or uninformed.
That's what it boils down to.

I think you answered the question. They both involve who you want sex with and are both sinful from a Christian perspective. I do however consider pedophilia much worse because it harms the child instead of just consenting adults.

there is no comparison one is consensual sex with another adult
the other is defiling a child with out consent, these children never get the chance to experience sex as it was meant to be without all the garbage. although both are morally wrong
