I would recommend using Clavamox if your dog has a skin infection or wound. It is more commonly used than plain amoxicillin... I think because it is calmer on the stomach or gentler in some way. Be careful how you use antibiotics, though. If you use it excessively or unnecessarily, or use the wrong type, you can make "super bacteria" that is resistant to antibiotics. That is why it is illegal to give antibiotics without a prescription. I am assuming you do not have a prescription if you are asking this question.

Yes, Amoxicillin is a common antibiotic given for ear and skin infections in dogs and cats. It's the same drug as people take for infections. In the liquid form.....you add sterile water and mix with the amoxi powder and shake well...Keep refrigerated. Also, comes in capsules.

Check with your vet before giving any medications to your dog for the proper dosage according to weight/size.

Dogs & cats can be given amoxycillin in pill or liquid, but it needs to be prescribed by a vet. Last week, I had 1 cat on it after a spay, 1 puppy on it who came from the pound and a senior dog on clavamox for a urinary tract infection.

I usually add a little plain yogurt to their food when they are on meds.

Ask your vet. Some meds work better than amoxycillin.

Yes but it will only work for certain types of infections some are not going to be able to be cured with it and you may need a different type of antibiotic.
See you vet.

yes you can, it is a very common vetrinary priscription to give to dogs, but the concentration and amount varries due to the dog's size and degree/type of infection, not to mention some dogs/people and other animals are deathly allergic to amoxicillan, so it is very important that you get the dog to a vet, it is not safe to blindly medicate your pets
