You could also ask why some muslims are killing people everywhere in the world. But the answer is the same. It is hatred and intolerance on both sides. All people are not like that, but the peaceful people aren't making the headlines every day. Personally, I would like to see us all get along but I guess Humanity does not have that capability yet.

Because in general there are a bunch of Muslims out there that just are not willing to play well w/ others. Not all of course. I live across the street from a Muslim mosque. Nobody is shooting at Muslims in Kansas. But then again they are not setting off car bombs, flying planes into buildings, kidnapping Israelis, blowing up London subways, blowing up foreign embassies in Africa, blowing up wedding parties in Jordan, or hijacking cruise ships. So they seem to be getting by ok. Nobody is targeting MUSLIMS. They are targeting terrorists that are full of hate and have sworn to destroy Israel and my way of life in America. Hell they even tried to kill the prime minister of Canada! Canada?!?! They might as well be shooting teddy bears. What should we all do? Lay down and just die to make these people happy? And if we did would the killing stop? NO! You'd still have Shiite's and Sunni's killing each other. Hatred and violence begets nothing but violence.

I do know that in Iraq, Shiites and Sunnis are killing each other, and they are both Muslims. In Afghanistan, Taliban are killing other Muslims.

In Lebanon, the Israelis are killing some Muslims, and some Christians. They are doing this, I heard, because Hizbullah Muslims kidnapped some Jews and killed some others, so the Israelis got upset with them and attacked Hizbullah and all the places they are in Lebanon. I also heard that Hizbullah put their guns, ammunition, and hiding places under mosques and private buildings in Lebanon, so the Israelis are destroying those places too.

Its because of ignorance (which means, uneducated in this context - not stupid)... that people assume that the media & just word of mouth is truth... do the research yourself & you will understand:

1. Why there is so much terror in the world today, 2. What percentage of "terrorists" are muslim, 3. Why the terrorists are killing who they kill, 4. Why it is that we kill these terrorists. - We kill them, because no matter what you believe or what you are told... these Muslim Terrorists believe that what the Koran (Muslim Holy Book) says is that there is peace... in the Muslim community... but for everyone else... they must die, be tortured, be enslaved, eliminated...

1. Some of the muslims have taken law into their hands and bomb as they like at airlines, railways, buses, scooters, market places where more people gather.(Though majority of muslims may not approve this)
2. It is done all over the world.
3. Even right thinking muslims do not condemn severly against these actions - especailly the Maulvis and other muslim religious leaders.
A general hatredness is prevailing against those who commit such heinous crimes and retaliatory actions by governments are necessary as they have to maintain law and order. The solution is the Governments and religious leaders in the region should disown bomb blasts first and prepare for talks instead.

Killing and revenging are everywhere either for money or for women or for religion or for race, so it is there from the start of the humanity, You can classify it by race, religion etc. But so far I understood that there is some history behind killing Muslims, one reason may be the fear that Muslim school of thougts may overcome on the world and they will lose the power. Philippines, Indonesia, Bali, Thailand, India, Chechnya, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Gaza, Sudan, Somalia, England, France, Spain, etc. All over, there are groups of Muslims who attack and kill other people, most often for little or no reason other than they aren't Muslims or aren't the correct sect of Muslim.

Also most often, it is after the Muslim-initiated violence that the Muslims get killed.
