You should refer to a dietician for diet counselling. Im not a dietician but i know fairly well about healthy diet. There is nothing to be done to gain weight lose weight in a healthy way. It all depends on your metabolism rate and you're born with that. The reason why people eat so much yet stay slim is perhaps they carry strong metabolism genes in them. This cannot be altered. Anyhow, normal diet consists of the diet pyramid which constitutes dairy products to the least with vegetables and plants the most. Drink plenty of water (at least 6-8 glasses of water a day, each consumes roughly 210mls). Eat more fruits and vegetables, fibrous food helps in digestion, metabolic rate and fat cleansing. Water helps in regulating blood flow and eliminate waste from the body. Avoid eating so much of red meat. Trust me, millions of Americans are suffering from heart disease because of uncontrolled fatty diets and such. Red meat carries high percentage in animal cholesterol which in the end will accumulate in our blood vessels, blockage will occur and soon will lead to heart attack. Drink half glass of red wine everynight, it is believed to be good for the heart (please read more about it). I suggest, have you tried being a part-time vegetarian, then moving to a full time? Vegetarian is not everybody's preference but i've seen its miracle and really works wonders in many people sufferring from chronic illnesses. I've also seen young people practicing being vegetarians and they have beautiful skin complexions. Take it slowly and step by step, consult a dietician for best and hope this helps.

You have to focus your will on your diet regime. Weight Watchers is an easier way to control proportions and if you stick to it you will lose weight. Exercise is more important than cutting calories so get to a gym. Find a buddy to diet with.

The best one is a life time diet of moderation and portion control. Eating a variety of foods that you enjoy and staying away from sugar and snacks.
