I'm 43 and completing my bachelor's degree
Take a minute to read about Colonel Harland Sanders....better known as the face on the Kentucky Fried Chicken container...made his millions after 65 years old.
I could give more examples, but this is an awesome time. Sometimes when things seem so down, that's when you come up with the amazing solutions and that "AHA!" moment when you realize how to overcome.
The biggest reason for difficulties is, that if you had it easy, how would you learn? You need those opportunities in life that are hard.
I believe in self-efficacy. That's where you look at a situation and figure out what is wrong with the situation and look for a way to overcome the situation. That's the attitude inside of yourself that says "Ok I'm going to get through this, I just need to figure out how."
There is always a solution to everything but somethings are more difficult than others. That's why I'm thankful for a heavenly father. I pray when things get difficult and over and over the answers to problems come. Sometimes through other people, sometimes form that "AHA" moment, and sometimes from the circumstances you can make an educated decision.
But I would encourage you to look at your issues that are troubling you and see if you can come up with a goal and figure out the steps to achieve that goal. Look for what you can do and where you will need help. Work towards that goal.
30, 40, 50, 60, or 70 - never too late.
Blessings!

I have that fear often. As an over 30 woman who always aspired to be a singer and actress, and has had several minor positive, professional experiences along those lines, but is now married with a child. Yes, I often feel that my best chance for success has passed me by . But, if your hopes and dreams are in a field that is not dominated by no-talent looks-only biased media, than maybe your dreams are more reachable than mine. I can't give you alot of advise unless I know what dream you want to see realized. more info in = better info. out

I would say it is never too late, but it may takes lots of drive, dedication and determinaton to accomplish your dreams....
Think about the 90 year olds who graduate from college, and the 50 year olds who become doctors, or the 70 year olds who become president...what it takes is hard work and determination-- but it's certainly possible.
Another way to look at is to begin enjoying and appreciating what you have-- friends, family, other accomplishments... often times people are so driven towards a goal that they forget about what's really important in life-- relationships and love moreso than money or power or prestige.
Best of luck to you!! Keep dreaming! =-)

Keep striving. It is not really the reaching the goal that matters. There is actually very little satisfaction to be gained by reaching a goal. If there were, we would be happy once the goal was reached, but what always happens is that once a goal is reached, a new goal is set. It is the striving for a goal that is satisfying. The adventure, battle, or whatever you want to call it that it takes to reach the goal is what is truly satisfying, that is why we continue to set new goals. So, keep striving towards your goal, and then set a new one.

Its never too late. You just need to take action and do it. You cannot wait for a oppurtuinty to come to you, you need to go searching and only then do oppurtunities arise. Go for your dreams no matter how crazy they are. You can do it just take action. By the way your not dead after 30 but you only have a good 10 years left so get you a** in gear.

I'm very close to that age and at times it may feel like you have passed the "age limit" to accomplish certain goals but that is not the case. If no one believes in you, not even you, God does!
To remind myself I listen to this song...
"I Believe In You" by Bethany Dillon.
When there’s nothing to believe in, I believe in you
Forget the past and let my hand in yours be the proof
Though the strong could be my company you’re the one I choose
So remember, I believe in you
I know it feels like every eye is watching you
Waiting for you to fall, expecting you to lose
But I see victory, so all you have to do
Is remember I believe in you
I believe even when I see you crying
I believe, let me dream for you
When nothing comes from trying
Remember, I believe in you
There will come a day when love will lift you out of here
There will come a day when love will bring the truth
There will come a day when love will free you from your fear
And you’ll remember I believe in you

It is never too late to pursue dreams. There are some people who go to med school yrs after working another professional job, because they felt that is where they needed to be. Im close to 31 and I just started my schooling less than a year ago.

30 is so very young! Imagine that this person will live to be 94, he/she has still 64 years to go! Life starts at that age :)
It is never too late to follow your dreams!

i only started reaching for my dreams at that age .. im 37 now and have accomplished many of them and still many more to do
i think its only when we reach 30ish that we have new goals and ideas as an adult .. that we do a little soul searching and know the direction we wish to go in
keep dreaming and reaching .. stay possitive that the goals are only as far as you make them
and be happy :o)

THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE RETURNED TO
SCHOOL AT A LATE AGE, AND THAY HAVE DREAMS AND
ASPIRATIONS JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DO. IF YOU GO ON
THINKING THAT WAY YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYTHING
ACCOMPLISHED. AGE IS JUST A NUMBER THAT SWEEPS
AWAY THE VEIL OF YOUTH BUT SHOULD GIVE US WISDOM.
REMEMMBER"YOU'RE ONLY OLD WHEN YOU'RE DEAD"
ONLY DEATH WILL STOP YOU'RE DREAMS!!!!!!!!
