There is MUCH more than looks when finding "the right one". While looks certainly do matter when considering personal attraction, and physical desires, it can also lead you into actually wanting to know more about the person on the inside as well. Once you've found someone physically attractive, and then get to know their inner beauty, the physical appearance matters less - at least from what I've found to be the case. Their personality begins to matter more, their dreams, and aspirations in life, their mannerisms, their demeanor, their opinions, their feelings, their spiritual and maybe their political beliefs. Maybe even their own hobbies, or habits too? Gauge how well you connect with your potential "right one" on all levels before making any significant commitment... It can save a lot of heartache for both involved in the long term scheme of things. Good luck!

Looks can be a part of finding the right one. You do have to have physical chemistry, but sometimes that comes with knowing and learning about the person you are interested in. Just remember, physical beauty fades with time and age, inner beauty is what last forever. You may find someone that is beautiful on the outside, but horrible on the inside, or you may find someone that is not much to look at, but find the most beautiful person on the inside. Just don't be closed minded when it comes to trying to find the "right one".

Way more...You can be with the best looking person in the world but if there isn't a good connection or you can't get along with them then they aren't the right one. The right one is someone who fits you and your life and you do the same for them. The right one is someone who makes your life better and supports you even through the worst of times. None of that relies on looks...I'm not saying that looks don't play a role because I think you have to be attracted to someone who you plan on waking up to for the rest of your life.

what matters is how he treats you and what you have in common. looks dont mean much when you are miserable with a person because you have nothing in common, no common ground, and nothing to talk about.

looks change, but genuinely liking the person that they are doesnt.

if you cant talk or laugh together, then you dont have a relationship anyway.

Their character, the way they treat animals and their parents are also good signs of seeing how compassionate they are, the way they handle their problems, and the way they interact with you and others in public after the first month....you should be able to tell if they listened to you because there should be certain things about you that they can recall.
