All depends what you mean and if the person is eating food.
If you do not specify that he is eating food, the majority will understand that is food.
Both are correct.

Why would you state either of these? You are argumentative, accusative and judgemental. Take a tip. If you wish someone to alter their behaviour, it is better done as an equal (not setting yourself over the other person) where you can state how you would prefer the other to eat. Making someone defensive is one of the quickest ways to cause entrenched behaviour. If you can - ignore the bad and praise the good behaviour. We all have an inner need to be accepted - showing acceptance generates a desire for conformity.

Both are correct. Two is simply more direct and specific by having a direct object. One, however, has a predicate adjective that describes the way in which you eat.

What else would you be eating? Either one is acceptable. (unless of course the person is eating something other than food, in which case, you would have to use the first one)

The second sentence is correct because if state a fact about something. But the first just speak in general about something that's terrible. That could be anything.

I think both of them are correct,

but referring to the second one, what else are you going to eat?

No. 1 is alright if saying verbally,
two, if you write it.
But they both sound good either way around.
Why, is there a correct way?
