The most strategic plan of Satan is to diminish the power of God, to defame and degrade the power of Jesus Christ, and to stop anyone who may spread the gospel of Christ.
Anything that is of God is not born of confusion. Anything that is evil will cause confusion, deception, lies, and cunning temptations covered in just enough truth to make them seem plausible.
Acts 4:12 This is the only way to salvation. One Way--Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 says, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved."
No Allah, not Buddah, not Muhammad, not Zeus, not any other name, but Jesus Christ.
To God be the Glory, In Jesus Name!

Well Christians have always been the "savers" meaning, they try to save others and revert them to Christianity.
I am a Christian, though my beliefs are very different from most. Too long to list but I believe that being Gay is ok, in fact, I know and am friends with guys that are gay, not by choice but because they were born that way. I love them and the fact that they are gay doesn't bother me a bit. I also think they should be allowed to get married and live happily...who am I to judge?
I don't wave my religion around and push it in anyone's face. It's not my job, if I can help you, wonderful, good for me, gimme an attaboy, if not no biggie, maybe you can help me!
I am not racist, usually, though it depends on a person. I can be racist toward anyone of any race, again depending on the person and their actions. Some people give other people bad images. That is what has happend here with Christians. Because some of us are the savers doesn't mean we all are. I personally don't care what religion you are, if any. That is your choice and you are entitled to it. I just can't see why other's including christians put other religions, or lack of, down. If you believe it, it is true for you. Why the bickering and fighting over if there is a God or isn't and who has the "right" God. Give it up and be happy. Believe what you want and when it is over and done with who cares! I won't be worrying about wagging my finger at those who believe differently or not at all, I will be DEAD!

Um, not everyone treats Christians that way. But you are doing exactly what you are complaining about they are doing to Christians. You simply just labeled everyone who isn't a Christian as one who "automatically" labels christians as racist-sexist homophobes.
Other groups are hardly respected and revered for their history... that's the silliest part of your question here. When have you seen Pagans or Jews being respected and revered for their history??????? Doesn't happen. Certainly not in America... where Christianity is the popular religion...
And feelings hurt? Well, I guess if you had a group of Pagans constantly telling you that you are no good, you are bound for hades, guilt should be your only emotion... yeah, I guess you would end up being a depressed little soul with nothing worth living for.
You have to take into consideration the Christians out there that DO this type of thing to others outside of your religion. And that is where you get your bad rep... from others of your own kind.

This is a serious question. There is a huge backlash going on against Christians, especially and most obviously by the muslim and Aethiest views today. Christians, and other religions, have been attacked for being who they are.
Christianity teaches us that the faithful will pereservere. As Christians, it is our duty to recognize that some of our practices and beliefs may upset nonbelievers. We should be okay with that and not get upset by them.
Don't fall into the trap of pushing Christianity on those who are not ready. But keep working to convert and save those you can.
Awesome!

Because there is a tradition of the majority trying to convert everyone else. The "war on Christmas" was about signs at Wal-Mart, not what you have in your own window.
If someone says all homosexuals are going to hell, they are a homophobe, whether christian or not. If someone says all (ethnic group) are going to hell, they are racist, whether christian or not. If someone seeks to subjugate women, they are sexist, whether christian or not. The fact that many christians do all of these things is the reason christians are labeled as such, but they really are mutually exclusive.
As Bill Hicks said- if you don't like how you are characterized by a person, forgive them.

because religion is full of belief without evidence, which lends itself to other ignorance such as racism, sexism, and homophobia. Ever hear of the ban on gay marriage? Why do you think that came to be? Some christians (the ones in power in this country) see homosexuals as inferior, sinners, not deserving of the same rights and protections as the rest of us. AKA Homophobia. Racism? some our best christian forefathers were slave owners.
those other religions are not strong enough to force their beliefs into U.S. law. Like evangelical christian george bush's recent veto of government funded stem cell research, a promising new science. Another step backwards for mankind.
Atheism is not recognized as a religion by the U.S. government, nor would I want it to be. What we have is the exact opposite of religious beliefs.
Atheists have yet to be offered any evidence of the existence of any god(s), therefore no god(s) exist.
oh and rahidz - belief belongs in church, in the home, and you can stand on a street corner with a bullhorn shouting scripture. It does not belong in anything funded or controlled by government. That includes any government property, schools, courts, etc. Our (including atheists) government should not endorse religion and should close the loophole that allows endorsement of a generic god.
read the bill of rights
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Our christian forefathers put that in the bill of rights because they understood the importance of keeping government out of religion. The reason we're here in america is because christians were escaping religious persecution in their own country. As time passed new christians figure out how to incorporate god into government by using the "generic god" loophole. Saying that a generic god is not endorsing a particular religion. The point is that when endorsing a god you automatically endorse religion.

Your question is silly. It supposes that there is some kind of bias against Christians, and quite the opposite is true.
Essentially all of the arguing against Christians here is aimed at juvenile and/or simply stupid behavior by Christians. When others act as juvenile or stupidly, they're disrespected as well, here and in society in general. In fact Christian are essentially given a lot MORE latitude in their bad behavior than are those other groups (particularly atheists, who are generally far better-behaved than others, and yet still considered evil).
In short, you can ask for this political-correctness nonsense all you want, but you're going to find more and more that people expect you to earn respect. We're not going to just give it to you just because you're the majority religion. Get over yourself and learn to deal with it.

Meh. You can have your belief, whether it be Christian, Muslim, or atheist, if you don't push and shove others into following it.
For Christians : Yes, this means don't force other schoolchildren to pray, or learn that God created the Earth in 6 days. If you want to teach your own kids, fine, but don't make others. And lay off of gay marriage and abortion as well. Not everyone lives by the Bible.
For Muslims : Stop blowing each other up. Stop blowing us up. Stop killing people if they convert from Islam. Kapeesh?
For atheists : Don't be high and mighty, and remove every mention of God from everywhere. If it doesn't harm you, let people believe, even if you don't.

Jesus said that the world hates us because He has taken us out of the world. I don't think that he was just saying things. He was trying to tell us something spiritual. You are still in the world, right? I know that I am still in the world, are we really out of the world?
Was Jesus speaking figuratively, spiritualy, or literally? We are still in the world, how can we be taken out of the world when we are still here? That doesn't make sense! Or does it?
It's what the Holy Spirit does to us. It marks us. It causes us a change in pattern of behavior, a recognizable pattern of communication wording, speech, writing, etc.
This is the evidence of Christianity as being the one true faith in all the world. We are the ones who carry God's mark on us, that the world can see, but doesn't understand. The Bible says that we are New Creations in Christ Jesus. It not only counters the impulses of sins that attempt to gain back control, but it makes us different from everyone else.
That's what Jesus does, he sets us apart from the rest of the world. His Spirit causes us change, and we are hated by those that are not a part of this heavenly influence.
Jesus said, Know that it hated me before it hated you.

Well, anyone who lives here in the United States lives in a society that was built on a Christian belief system, and people who have become a part of this country who are not Chrisian have been excluded from the social norm.

Back your train up. Christians are more tolerant (as a whole) of other religions than muslims. If you disagree, ask why a Christian church can't be put up in Saudia Arabi.
Christians to attack other religions are misguided. Their actions shouldn't be held against all Christians, just as the actions of a few muslim radicals should not be held against the entire islamic community.
True Christians love and accept everyone.
