Wow! The first two people who replied to your question said that the bible says nothing about parenting! I find that odd coming from people who evidently claim to read it. I'll give you a couple you can take a look at Ephesians 6:4 and Deuteronomy 6:4-9. The bible gives principles that Christian parents should apply to all aspects of their lives, including raising children. As a Christian we are to imitate Jesus, does the bible not give any examples of how Jesus treated children? I'll leave it up to you to research that question. When God destroys people He does not do it on a whim. The bible teaches that God is a reader of hearts, He knows our innermost thoughts and desires. The people that He destroys are the ones that He can see will not be obedient to Him and do what He asks of them. To understand why He does that you must understand that all things He created have a place and a purpose, including human beings. If we refuse to do what He asks of us we not only ruin things for ourselves, but our actions will also adversely affect other life, including human life, on the earth. People who do not do what God asks are selfishly endangering other people lives as well as their own. God's commands are in place to benefit us, not hurt us, or keep us from having something good. Satan the Devil tried to implant the idea in Eve's mind that she would get something good for being disobedient to God. Now, Eve is dead, just like God said she would be. The bible does not teach that it is God's desire to kill people 2 Peter 3:9 He wants people to live. Our continued life is dependant upon our being obedient to God. The people he chooses to destroy are the ones who have demonstrated that they will not be obedient to Him.

God did not "drown" us. We drowned ourselves. The bible states that God made a perfect world, where everything was filled with love, peace, joy. Perfectness. UNTIL mankind ruined it by falling into satan's trap. Thus, this sin was passed down from generations to generations.

God gave Adam and Eve free will to choose but they turned God down... He could've lived happily with Adam and Eve and enjoy the rest of the years but the both of them, instead of recieving the offer with joy, they rejected Him. Because of this grave mistake, God sent them away.

Now, 2000 years later, man is becoming worse and worse. Who can we blame? Ourselves. We aren't perfect cos' of Adam and Eve's sin. Even God knows that.

That is why, he sent Jesus to die on the cross for us 2000 years ago to bring hope to the dying world...

But people still party on, doing bad things, sinning on and on, ignorant of God... He loved us so much e sent His own son to die for us, yet we are so ungrateful. He gave us free will, but we chose to go the other way...

Tell me, if God wants the best for us, do you think He'd want to drown us?

God Bless You! =)

outstanding question. Extrapolating why with water, and why for an entire twelve months might want to God keep his fashionable relations off the land? i'd ought to assert that what he eliminated changed into the lacking link of Darwinism. Which also ability it under no circumstances will be got here upon. The toxicity of the water might want to be considered evidenced interior the Western states with unusual scum bubbles, got here upon equivalent distances from the peaks and the valley flooring which i'm confident isn't the technical time period for them, yet it truly is what they appear like.

God doesn't tell us how to bring up our children. I've read the bible many times.. and it doesn't say anything about parenting.

I agree with the person above...as she has read the bible. But even if he does, tells us to be careful and not repeat his mistakes. He does not want us to land up into circumstances which would force to do such a thing. i cannot comment much as i am not cristian but i believe in secularism

it doesn't say anywhere how to bring up children, && he didn't have to drown his own.
Jesus chose to die for our sins, it was a choice he made...not one God made for him.
