See this is where there is a very very simple answer that answers all these questions and that by only blindly ignoring the obvious can one not see it.
God is not real.
Solved, finito, no question no problem. There is no heaven, there is no hell, no reincarnation, no nothing. And thats just fine, no one experiences being dead after all, and we all have been to oblivion before.

I know certain things at times must be confusing. I too have stayed up nights meditating over some serious questions like where did we come from and why? I study the Bible and have found answers to many of my questions. Hell is not a real place. It comes from the Hebrew and Greek words Hades and Sheol which means the common tomb of humanity. Not a literal tomb but a Symbolic tomb that the Bible says will be emptied one day (John 5:28,29). Also, the book of Revelations shows that only 144,000 people will go to heaven (Revelation 14:1). The number is literal because the Bible calls this group the small flock (Luke 12:32). Where will the majority live? On Earth as God intended in the beginning (Psalms 37:11). Also, although God can determine the outcome of situations he allows us to choose (Joshua 24:15). That doesn't mean that we are predestined rather that he has perfect foresight to determine the ultimate outcome. Much like when we were children and we're doing something dangerous and our parent says you're going to get hurt and it happens. They're not seeing the future they just have better foresight. Lastly, God promises to establish his original purpose soon (1 Timothy 2:3,4; Daniel 2:44; Revelations 21:3,4; Isaiah 46:13). In conclusion, God is love (1 John 4:8) , we just need to educate ourselves better about him and his son Jesus Christ and our faith and understanding will grow (James 4:4; John 17:3; Romans 10:17).

You ask some tough questions. Even C.S. Lewis, one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century could not reconcile some of these issues. So, of course, don't expect me to give a truly satisfactory answer, either.
The Bible says that God created us, because it gave Him pleasure to do so. The fact that He is soverign and eternal does support the fact that there are no surprises for God, so yes, He does know the end from the beginning and He has planned everything out in advance. (Read Psalm 139 and Romans 9).
LIke I said, I have no easy answers, but I believe the Bible when it says that God is love, He is full of mercy and compassion, God is light and in Him is no shadow of turning, His mercies are new every morning, He is lowly and gentle of heart, and He loves us with an everlasting love. Lastly, if we want to see God, all we have to do is look at Jesus.
I struggled with the very same issues as you early on in my faith, and I came to the place where I had to accept that I am not God, and I will never know His mind this side of heaven. But, I can know His heart. There is a song wrtten about 20 years ago whose chorus goes like this:
God is too wise to be unfaithful
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand.. .
Trust His heart
I hope you decide to do that.

The bible says the hell was created for the punishment of the angels that rebelled against God in the beginning. However, due to the fallen nature of man (which was NOT God's intention), we have subjected ourselves to a path towards hell.
God created everything because He is a creative God. Artists understand this. They have a need to paint or draw or sculpt.
But the Bible also says the Jesus came to redeem all humanity for all time. What does that mean? I have no idea. But I'm working on it.

Questions like these affects one's faith.
What you just said is agreable, but no matter what, He'll always have my trust. Besides, as the bible states, God has a reason for Everything.
Jesus said, "If you do not understand of the earthly things i tell you, how can you understand what i'm going to tell you about heaven?"
This sentence shows how great and how real heaven and God's love for us is... read, it's very deep.
God Bless You! =)
p.s. Don't lose faith!

Hello "is God good", u worry 2 much ..
I had God's address once, but I lost it. I can
remember He had a sense of Humour, and
he resided sumwhere near Orion . He "seeded"
some DNA around the Universe, just for the
"hell" of it, to see what would happen.
NOBODY KNOWS God exists (xcept me!)
"they" all BELIEVE (not understand!) .
Our little Ball, EARTH , IS smaller than a
speck of DUST floating in your lounge-room
compared to the Universe.
Stop worrying, 80 yrs = abt 30.000 days
Enjoy yourself , God told me WE have
from 6-20 years left , to do so . Nobody is
going to Hell. You are in IT !
Love from Orion Man ......

God created us to be His adopted children. God is good and He does love us. He wants our love too. Why do you think that He allowed His Son, Jesus to die on the cross for OUR SINS? He says in His Word that He is not willing for any one to perish.
Hell is created for Satan and his Angels. God did not create it for us. However, If we don't accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and develop a personal relationship with Him. It is our choice to go there. Not His. Jesus is our salvation. You have a choice.

G-d created man to reign over all he made. He then created woman to be a companion for Man.
G-d did not create sin. Man sinned- it came from the serpent, which we consider Satin. (The Fallen Angel) It was mans choice to sin. The statement about us all ending up in hell, that is not true. We all are given a choice to be saved or to be separated from G-d. I believe there is always hope.!!! Jesus is our Hope!! He came to save us from being separated from G-d.

Cheese,
I am only going to answer your first question. Is God good?
God spent thousands of years to accomplish a meticulous plan to save His creation. His plan culminated with us – the Christians. We are supposed to continue the work that Jesus began.
Jesus was the most perfect revelation of God and this is the job that He said that He came to accomplish. He came to set people free from sin and death and disease and sickness and blindness and deafness and any other incapacity including demonic activity or possession.
He revealed God’s nature perfectly, and His followers, we Christians, are supposed to be doing the same things that He did. He even said that we would do greater things than He did.
Your problem with God stems from your own unbelief, but as Christians we are responsible, too. We are to represent God on the earth just like Jesus did.
If you were blind, and you received your sight in Jesus’ name, then wouldn’t you believe that God is good? If you had cancer and you were healed in Jesus’ name, wouldn’t you automatically accept the fact that God is good?
You are responsible for what you choose to believe, but Christians are also to blame because we sit in church with the truth and the power of God to perform miracles and healings, and we do not use it outside of the walls of the church where it is needed.
When you stand before God, He will not allow you to blame us for our lack of action, but we are guilty just the same. You deserve to see the love of God demonstrated just like Jesus demonstrated it.
Besides all of His obviously good deeds, Jesus accepted everyone and loved them. He publicly associated with those that were ostracized like tax collectors, lepers, drunkards, prostitutes, etc.
I apologize for our lack of love and obedience to Jesus, but you must choose for yourself regardless of our failures.
God is good. Jesus proved it – especially by dying in our place.
God bless you.
