Pure fiction. An insult to 'God' to believe in such garbage.

Hell is a mystical conception of Religion. They said hell is a composition of 2 compartmernt, one for the good, and one for the wicked. Meaning to say that hell is a mixture of right people in the the wrong place or wrong people in the right place. That is precisely mixing the truth with the lies and the lies with the truth. A myths so to speak, the original greek translation of the Bible does not mentioned hell at all, it is the translation of the word Gehenna that is in (hell translation). Gehena is (a place of fire) where the rubbish is consumed and it is not extinguish till all that is to be burned is consumed.

Hell is a denominational myths which were believed, hundreds of years ago and it was inspired by the works of the great thinkers such as plato, socrates etc.,

When people die, they do not go to this place. they are in deep sleep (from the time of adam to present) till the resurrection of the dead comes. and besides this earth, where we live in will be destroyed by fire. This resurrection of the dead will come after a 1000 years reign of christ with the belivers in the new Jerusalem. After which, then comes the resurrection of the wicked dead and satan will be lose to temp again the people on earth for a season and then make war with the saints of God. This time all of them will be destroyed and the white throne judgment will be enforce.

You will see Hell in the coming years to come, when the prophecy is fulfilled. no one has seen hell, but an idea only. the reality will come where everybody would say "THIS IS HELL!

Hell is defined as a complete and total separation from God, a place of eternal fiery torment and complete darkness "where the fire is not quenched and the worm dieth not." Hell is not yet open. It will be opened at the end of time when Satan and his minions are cast into it and the gate sealed for eternity.

The modern concept of Hell, being where people are now, is not quite correct. The ancient Hebrew and Greek words were mistranslated in the King James Bible. The actual word Sheol means a pit like a trash dump. Those in the pit are in a void, null state or place of suspension where they are not aware. They await the final judgement

The word "hell" is found in many bible translations. In the same verses other translations read "the grave," "the world of the dead," and so forth. Other Bibles simply transliterate the original-language words that are sometimes rendered "Hell"; that is, they express them with the letters of our alphabet but leave the words untranslated. What are those words? The Hebrew she'ol' and its Greek equivalent hai'des, which refer, not to an individual burial place, but to the common grave of dead mankind; also the Greek ge'en.na, which is used as a SYMBOL of eternal destruction. But in SOME "Christian" and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished ( and some believe that this is with torment). Which is a LIE! Ecclesiastes 9:5,10

Steven S. is correct. Hell is a place where there is eternal seperation from fellowship with God. Unfortunately for Steven S., it is not a cool place. Why?

Because those in hell will come to understand that they were created, their very purpose and desire, is to have a relationship with God. Instead, they will receive what they have chosen in their life on earth.

Perhaps that is why there is "weeping and gnashing of teeth." To realize that everything that you ever really wanted was offered to you as a free gift but you spit in the face of the one who offers it.... And you have only yourself to blame.

Thanks for the 2 points.

Hell is complete and permanent separation from God. Those in Hell have no chance of the Light or Grace or Love of God. It is an eternity of suffering and hate and vileness that there is no cure for. Once you reach Hell, it is forever.

Just like most things in the bible, Hell is completely debatable. There are large, mainstream Christian churches such as the Seventh-Day Adventist church that don't believe that a place called hell exists. (Other than in Michigan.)

But I guarantee that you'll get a huge load of responses that state the exact opposite, from members of other large, mainstream Christian churches.

The bible can be made to say almost anything you want it to.

i dont believe there is a hell. at least not one which is described to us as a place full of fire with demons and torcher and burning for eternity. and i REALLY dont believe that if we curse or lie or think unpure thoughts we go there forever. no way. i dont buy it. i dont buy that ANY "god" who loves everyone would send someone to burn forever and ever. i DO believe however that there is a place where the murderers and rapist, etc go. not sure what exactly or where but id like to believe that they are punished somehow for the horrible things theyve done. thats just all my opinion of course! :)

Hell is basically the waiting room for the lake of fire. When you die, if you don't believe in Christ, then you go to Hell. When the tribulation occurs, everyone in Hell goes to the lake of fire. I know both of them are supposed to be really bad.

Hell is a place where will be completely separated from God and, more importantly, all the people who believe in God. So, I expect it to be a pretty cool place.

Yes there is a hell.
It is a place where you are separated from God. A place of darkness where you begin to realize that all you had done and by your own accord have brought you to a point where you might die.
That death is very real, all you have done, said, was, had, and are, will no longer exist.
As if you never existed at all. No one will ever remember that you had existed. That is death.
