Like you,i want to learn spanish ASAP for some business reasons,so ibought a lot of books to learn from first letters then pronouciation then grammar and so on,so gradually with the other websites the aboved you can get,i think it is quite useful for you to learn it,and also i think the best way is to find one who can speak good spanish to talk to you,that is,practice makes perfect! good luck for both of you!

you can visit some web pages in Spanish, I born in a Spanish speaking country, Santiago-Chile, www.chile.com per sample will take you right to the countries web-site, also i believed www.+Country name. com, will allow you to visit, print and read in Spanish, also the translation as well it seams that can be obtain for the two languages English and Spanish. all of which can be done, true yahoo.com/ thank too yahoo.

You could try Pimsleur...or Rosetta Stone. I don't know how much Pimsleur costs, but Rosetta Stone is kind of pricy. Others are:

i dont recommend learning by yourself, it really helps to interact with somone..
try calling your local colleges and see if they can set you up w/ a private tutor or take an accelarated class..
