My friend trevor. asked a question on yahoo answers.
And said that he liked me. And he was thinking of asking me out.
But, he also said that his friends would hate him if he dated a un popular. I answered his question. And I said he should foregt about asking me out if he cares so much about popularity.
Was it right to say what I said?
What should I do?
I like him And he seems to like me.
But hes to afraid he will become a un popular.

Your right in what you told him. If he is more concerned about what his friends think than what he feels and wants then you don't want anything to do with him. A real man follows his heart regardless of what others think of him.

if that's the case then leave him girl because when he's around his friends he'll treat u like nothing but after words then ur alive. that's being used and that's not fair to u. You'll be his little toy. i think u should move on to something better if he cares more about his popularity then he does about his own feelings inside. show's in the future that all he thinks and cares about is what other people think and that'll cause problems in the relationship. So save ur self the time.

that sounds like my husband we were in the same situation you are in i was not very popular and we would talk all the time on the phone.and now we are married so i must have done something right. act like it does not matter and that should get his attention. if he calls dont answer all the time stay busy and if you do date someone make sure if you see him act like you are havn the best time ever and that will do it

yes u showed him up wiv conversation he too ballless to ask u himself ; now he knows u know that u know so wot next ???? doesnt seem to have changed ur life stuff him. Id neva not chase a chik i liked in fear of wot my mates thought u dont want hugs kisses and love from ur mates. They usually known to turn up drink ur beer and leave a mess. You did the right thing. He is very shallow and will probably treat you like crap. Save yourself the heart ache and wait for a real man to sweep you off your feet.

yes. in a couple of years popularity won't matter character will and trevor obviously has no character. You have character for turning him down
