Get at least eight hours of sleep at night, and drink coffee before classes. Also, sit in the front, and ask questions. You'll have to pay attention, and it will keep you alert. It can also help to wear very lightweight clothes, so you are a little chilly, since it's hard to fall asleep when you are cold.

Sleep for five hours, but in addition permit your self one one million-hour nap an afternoon. If you'll get used to that, then maybe you'll reduce it all the way down to four hours of sleep plus a one million-hour nap. Be definite and make up for misplaced sleep at the weekends via dozing up to feasible. Frankly, like the opposite posters, I do not consider it is a well proposal in any respect. You can paintings a lot more successfully when you get that further hour or 2 of sleep. Why attempt to mannequin your self on errors different persons are making? Are you definite your peers are telling you the reality?

To stay awake during lectures I used to write notes to myself. To keep others from reading my notes I learned to write backwards. It was fun and you could write away and people can peak at your notes and not have a clue what you were writing about.
