If you are going by plane then get up early in the morning befor 7am and book your tickets you get the cheepest flight then as after 7am everybody else starts booking and the earlyer you book them the better as again you will get the better deal
I would no this because i book to go to cypress every year ans it only costs us £70 for tickets and that is to get there and back nothing more it worth giving it a go

Get in a big box and mail yourself there. Make sure to pack food and drink. Lots of drink, mostly alcohol

AMTRAK they worked for me, if you don't mind a long ride. I went from Indiana to RI in 24 hours, one way, but it was $120 round trip!! great buy!!

Not sure where you are coming from (back where?) Try looking into Amtrak. I take the train for work alot, and it really is not too bad

BA can also be cheap but again only a long way in advance.
