11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,[a] and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

Revelation 20:11-13 (New King James Version)

Isn't this so much more diplomatic and poetic then saying the non-Christian is going to hell?

Diplomacy and poetic license are in the un-plucked eye of the beholder

I think that there is nothing wrong of being poetic or diplomatic, but is there ever really an easy way to make sure that people understand what are the consequences when you throw it all away...I mean the gift of God.

Jesus has cleared the way ( to all of us!!! ) by the blood of His sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The "curtain" into God's presence is His body.

So let's do it -full of belief, confident that we are presentable inside and out. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. HE ALWAYS KEEPS HIS WORD! Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshipping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.

If we give up and turn our backs on all we have learned, all we have been given, all the truth we know, we repudiate Christ's sacrifice and are left on our own to face the Judgment -and a mighty fierce judgment it will be!!

THINK!PLEASE THINK! If the penalty for breaking the law of Moses is physical death, what do you think will happen if you turn on God's Son, spit on the sacrifice that made you whole, and insult this most gracious Spirit???? This is no light matter!! God has warned us that he will hold us to account and make us pay. He was quite explicit: "Vengeance is mine, and I won't overlook a thing," and, "God will judge his people." Nobody is getting by with anything, believe me.

SO DO NOT THROW IT ALL AWAY NOW!

Thankyou. I once again remember why Ive thrown away biblical religion as a whole. I spoke with God and he doesn't want to talk about sending people to hell right now. He says he's more concerned with the other parts of the world where hell has been starting to settle on earth. Places like the Congo in Africa. God told me not to worry too much about the end because its probably not going to happen for another 5 billion years. Oh yeah, and Revelation is really about the fall of the Roman Empire becuase the people who wrote it believed Jesus was coming back in there lifetime. Check za facts.

Rev 20
Describes the final judgement.
There is no one in a grave, under the sea, or in a tomb. To be absent in the flesh is to be with the Lord.
You are in heaven, or you are in hell. Those in heaven and those in hell HAVE NOT been judged as yet.

Yes it is! In fact any Christian who tells a non-Christian that they are going to hell is misinformed.

According to Canon law, Hell is only for the damed confirmed in evil.

For solving other objections it should be noted:

God is not only infinitely good, He is infinitely wise, just, and holy.

No one is cast into hell unless he has fully and entirely deserved it.

The sinner perseveres forever in his evil disposition.

A 'good Christian' would never tell a non-Christian that they are going to hell because they are of another belief system.

Have a great day!
Billy!

Don't mean to generalize your question, but the christian should always use the Bible. It helps to show reference, and helps the eliminate the feeling of being personally attacked the listener may encounter.
Of course always try to use kindness when trying to save someone.

Sometimes it's hard to show raw Bible truths and kindness at the same time. I have to keep working on it anyway.

Why do you say you will pray for atheists because they need help?
"You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that we are the ones that need help?

you should never tell a non-Christian they are going to hell cause' then you would be in the wrong...you cannot just them...only God
I might tell an Atheist that they are wrapped around Satan's finger but I will never tell them they are going to hell because they still have a chance as long as they are living to believe in Christ

It may be more poetic but it's still a threat and people don't like to be threatened -- especially with something that doesn't exist and ain't gonna happen!

Hmm Hades eh?
The Greek god of the underworld? Why does he figgure so prominently in a christian myth?
Makes you wonder how many other christian myths are simply transcriptions of other mythos?
