me and my gf have been going out for 6 months and she is real nice and all...but she is just not my type...whts the "nicest" way to break up with her?

just tell her you like her alot, but that you dont think its going to work out because shes just not your type.

there is no such thing as a nice way to break up, but a girl just needs closure to a relationship, yes im afraid that means an explination and yes that also means the truth. just tell her the truth so that she can cry a bit and then move on. this way at least she will respect u for being a man and then u might remain friends...(if thats what u want)

There isn't one. Unless she wants to end it as well she will probably get upet. The best thing to do is tell her the truth, you have had good times together but you feel you are too different for a long term relationship. With any luck she will understand.

Well breaking up is hard to do. She will get hurt no matter what. but w/ respect and like a real man should do, is just be honest w/ her. She will be glad later on that you were upfront w/ your feelings. just talk to her in a calm way!

Just tell her you really like her and hope you can stay friends but you don't want to go any further in the relationship because you dont have feelings for her like that. im sorry if this hurts you but going on isn't fair to either of us.

tell her she was a great gf in all but u think that you both aren't made 4 each so u think that u two need to go seperate ways and see other people but u two can still be friends.

dont know much bout that cuz i never broke up with a girl... well meaby u shud come to her sometime and say something like: "listen i know ur really nice and all, and i really like u, nut im sorry to say this i dont think its gonna work for us 2...... but we can stil be friends right???

Just plain out tell her ... you are an amazing person i just dont think that your the one for me ... tell her that you are looking for that something that is missing in the realationship and because its not there you need to find it ....
