This isn't a question about ethics.
I think the word you're think of is etiquette, not ethical.
Etiquette: The practices and forms prescribed by social convention or by authority.
ethical : Of, relating to, or dealing with ethics.
Being in accordance with the accepted principles of right and wrong that govern the conduct of a profession.
Ethics is to do with moral rights and wrongs, whereas etiquette is polite conduct.
But, assuming you actually meant "do you think it is good etiquette for your wife to use the toilet while you are in the bath" - personally, in our house, my husband and I are fine with each other using the toilet to urinate while the other is in the room, but opening bowels is done unaccompanied.
However, to each his own. If it bothers you, why don't you just tell your wife so. But if that's the case, you also have to be prepared to advise her you are planning to take a bath to give her opportunity to use the bathroom if she need to, and also be prepared to get out of the bath should she need to use the toilet after a reasonable amount of time.

It’s funny you mention this, my best friend and I where just talking about the same subject. She tells me that both her and her husband use the toilet in front of each other, weather they are showering of just brushing their teeth. Personally, I find this repulsive. I once walked into my ex-boyfriend while he was using the toilet and not only did felt disgusted but also as if I had violated his space. While it is true that once you are married or in a relationship you see it all and experience it all, I believe there has to be some kind of privacy or boundaries between the two. I enjoy showering with my significant other and experiencing different sexual positions (which would expose you in a rather vulnerable way) but using the toilet in front of him…no way. I don’t necessary believe this is UNETHICAL but rather disgusting.

I am a private person and I can not as you put it take a dump while someone else is in the bath tub. I find that a little too personal, but not everyone feels
that way.
I also feel that it is rude and very inconsiderate!
No bath time should be uninterrupted!

Does she do it in the bath whilst you`re there or use the toilet whilst you`re in the bath?
I don`t see where ethics enter the equation - politeness maybe ..

I've always heard that you know the honeymoon is over when you're shaving and the wife comes in and takes a dump. Guess your honeymoon is over. Happens to most, and ethics has nothing to do with the process.

Most definately not, that is gross!!! (and this comes from someone who pooed when giving birth to my son in front of my husband, 2 male doctors and a 2 midwives) but no way I would take a dump while my hubby is in the bath, that is his bathroom time. I think you need to educate your misses in bathroom etiquite.

I don't think that it is a question of ethics, I think that it is a question of etiquette and overall politeness. If you are a couple who won't even fart in front of each other, then no you shouldn't go to the bathroom while the other is in the shower. In my relationship, if one of us really has to go while the other is in the shower then we either announce that we are coming in or ask if it's okay. We're also careful about flushing if it would screw up the water temperature or pressure.

Ethics doesn't enter into it. If she's "gotta go", she's gotta go, and chances are she can't wait for you to get done lounging in the tub. If you're bathing in the toilet however, that COULD be considered rude, and she should wait for you to get done.

No ethics involved.
Are you asking if this is bad manners? I would say, yes. She must say to you, " Honey, I really need to use the facilities. Can you finish taking your shower quickly." Or maybe, "Do you mind, I really have to go?"
Another question is have you done this to her?
Good Luck!
