I was with my boyfriend for 9 years when he cheated on me. It ruined everything between us, we tried to make it work but i couldnt forgive him or trust him even tho i stilll love him madly. Anyway we have decided to have a complete break with no contact at all. It is absolutely killing me, i want to ring him and text him and i want o know what hes doin?? What can i do?? I should really hate him for what hes put me through but i cant!! Help!!!!

It happens... Take a break from him but remain in contact with him... Take your time to get out of it and when you think you can trust him go back to him and ask him to be your man once again... You might be thinking that its not even that easy but just remember, you love him and you have spent 9 years with him and if you want something out of this investment then trsut me this is the best way out...

My bf and I have been together for 6 years. I move to Florida a year ago. He lives somewhere else where I am temporarily living.
Within that year, he has cheated on me with three girls, all my friends by the way, on the internet when girls ask for boyfriends he replies to tell them to send a picture! Call him. Cheating hurts alot. Ask him if he is going to do it again and ask him if he misses you. But don't make it seem desperate.... If he apoligizes and say he can't live w/out you, give himone more chance. But if he does it again, you are done. if my boyfriend makes that mistake again, he just lost the best thing that ever happened to him! Don't get too attatched because he might do it again. I hope you and your boyfriend have a good life together. I hope I helped!!!!!!

Try not to call him everyday...maybe every 2 or 3 days and only once each time. Don't say 'i love you' and DO NOT hang out! I went on a break with my bf for about 2 months (of course we were not dating for as long as you have, only 2 years) but not talking as much definatly helped. If in the end you can't trust him...then it wasn't meant to be.

Don't call him and when he calls you tell him your going out on a date. It will drive him nuts. Then be like maybe I can see you tommorow I am not sure I'll call you tommorow. Then don't call him the next day. If he calls don't pick up and don't listen to the voicemail because then u will probably end up calling him. The next day call him act like u didn't blow him off say you were busy. If he asks for specifics just say u were busy, that will drive him nuts. Then actually hang out with him that night. After all that toying u do with him he'll do just about anything to get you back. Trust me it works for guys and girls. The power of jealousy is a amazing.

Well love is always both sided if it is one sided then you are ruining your life for nothing. Tell me honestly has he tried to contact you after the breakup ? so why are you ? Love should be smart and not foolish like what you are doing. Grow up i know its heart breaking but one does not stop living. Yes that has certainly have put a scar on you but one must always look forward. All guise are not bad

well if you cant trust him anymore there is no relationship and i would just dump him completly. i personaly dont put up with cheating on me even 1 time with 1 woman. i have even told my husband b4 we got married he ever cheats even once i dont care what the reason there will be a divorce. i had a ex bf cheat on me so i wont go throught that again by no man

Time will make the desperation you feel to contact him fade a bit. Hang on....you need a complete break to figure you what YOU want. Concentrate on that, you're wasting time.

BREAKS SOMETIMES WORK. BUT IF HE CHEATED ON YOU THEN HE DID IT FOR A REASON. IF A GUY CHEATS ON YOU THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG IN THE RELATIONSHIP, AND MORE THAN LIKELY HE WILL DO IT AGAIN. YOU WANT TO SPEAK WITH HIM BECAUSE YOU ARE COMFORABLE IT HIM, YOU ARE USE TO THE THINGS HE SAYS AND THE WAY HE TREATS YOU. CHANGE IS GOOD, HOPEFULLY YOU WILL REALIZE THIS WHILE YOU ARE NOT TALKING TO HIM AND YOU WILL MOVE ON! GOOD LUCK!

Time heals all wounds. Take this break, but still talk to him. Call him up for friendly conversations as FRIENDS. Then get back with him when you feel the time is right.

move on he decided to cheat hell do it again and hurt you even worse in the long run. i say you should keep busy go out with friends and when you do find yourself wanting to call him call a friend and talk them not him it'll help the healing process easier.
