It is all in the genes.

Most white girls have naturally straight hair and even the ones with curly hair don't have hair like black girls. If they got a perm their hair would be curly. If a black girl got a perm, their hair becomes straight. Black and white girls have two different hair textures and two different ways of caring for their hair.

Well, a perm technically curls your hair. And isn't this question a bit racist? Are white girls the only ones that have straight hair? No...

I don't. My hair is VERY curly. But I wouldn't perm it to get it straighter b/c I like my hair curly. ( Most white girls don't know what you mean by "perm", but I do.) Go natural- Curls rock when they are fixed right!! Straight is so common- I like to look different.

That's the same as asking black girls how they keep their hair so curly without getting a perm!

Um.....most of the time it just grows that way. My hair is very straight. I don't do anything but brush it while I'm blowdrying it. My hair won't hold a curl either. It's all genetics.

Theyr'e natuarally born with straight hair. Just the same as if you're African American (not to be mean), you would be bron with I think curly or puffy hair. Simple. You might want to straighten your hair if you want hair like that (no offence again).

well, it could be all in the genes, but as for us older white girls, we use straightening irons, or irons in general.. irons work really good... not every white girl had straight hair, i don't and i know some who had really curly/wavy hair.. but, we use shampoos as well that help the irons straighten it... but yeah, thats all too it.
