OKay, I tired to make Donuts and I failed. They didn't rise and I bought a syringe for nothing. So I ate the pudding and threw away those hard biscuits that should of been donuts. I went down to Dunkin Donuts and purchased some some nice ones and Bavarian eclairs. Thanks for the tips.

The center is soft and they push the donut onto an injector. That is why there is a hole in the side.

Stick a knife (or maybe your finger if this is just for you) into a unfilled doughnut from the side to make room for the filling, and insert a piping bag with your filling in an squeeze. Stop when you start to see some seeping out.

Well it's usually injected isn't it? If I had to do such a thing I would grab a child's medicine syringe from the local pharmacy and just shove it in and squirt.

You need something like an icing bag to insert into the donut and then squeeze to fill it

Most cooking supply shops have injectors for doing that.
It looks like a big hypodermic needle, but had a fat tip.

They shoot it in with a special device that has like a long large needle type thing on it.
