I am an atheist , I'm taking your question seriously ! so no religious answers from me (or quotes from the bible)
I don't think that Hitler ever saw himself as 'evil' !!shocking that isn't it?
But many other people who I wont name, (both in the past and in the present ) don't think they are 'evil' our definitions of evil could differ a lot here!
But to get back to your legitimate question, my answer is no he would have no wish to purify his soul , he thought his soul was already pure!
Is the 'soul ' just a manifest construction of the brain??
I believe it is, to my mind there is no 'soul' we are here by 'accident' no Adam or Eve etc.
Morality ? this depends upon your upbringing only, we all live in different environments , we all have differing ideas of what is 'moral' and what is not 'moral ' When the Brits were busy 'freeing' what they considered backward countries, they started to insist the females wore bra's!
I cant give you chapter and verse from any 'Holy Book ' to prove my point.
But for some reason I think you have made up your own mind to the answer to all your questions , or have you?
It's not really the thing that you ask for a consensus of opinion about is it?

It would depend if he was able to experience anything else in those 60 years. If he didn't experience anything else - he would be the same after that time. If he was able to see what's happened inthe world and that everyone is the same deep down despite their culture he would probably reconsider his views. Hitler was on a lot of drugs and that contributed to his "evil" ways. I think he could have been a great man had he not been brain washed into thinking blond hair and blue eyes had anything to do with anything but the out ward appearance. I think it was the drugs more than anything else that f*ed him up. .. then again he was just seriously wrong about everything. He could have still created his surperior race and not killed anyone. I dont even think there's a difference between jewish people and anyone else besides their culture and there's nothing wrong with that!

SSo.... I guess he'd be fine if he could see the error in his ways and got off the drugs! either way, we're better off he's not with us

a brain-dead coma implies that there is no cognizant thought processes going on, including the ability to ask for redemption. that being the case, if Hitler had asked for final unction unselfishly (ie. truly seeing the error of his ways as opposed to fearing everlasting damnation), Christianity interprets this as salvation. Hitler is saved.
I know that isn't the happy answer. We want to feel that some crimes are unforgivable, and I feel that ways sometimes as well. However, that is not what Christianity teaches. As is often the case, it is a lot easier to SAY one is a Christian than it is to BE a Christian.

this is a highly provacative contemplation

to what extent was the world balanced on hitlers next action

if everything reverberates in the universe, how do his words and actions and thoughts afffect his soul

see: those who focus on the seperatness or the unity of a hitler in a brain dead coma and the question, "could his soul purify itself in the 60 year?"

for sure, hitler had a lot of karma and it is my thought that he mayl have to come back and work it out...like so many of us...like so many of us

If Hitler had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and followed His teachings, and repented (to turn away from) of his sins before his death, his soul would be purified.

We ALL sin and fall short of God's glory and that is the reason that God sent His Son, Jesus, to take our place for punishment and be our sacrifice so that we could receive the gift of salvation and eternal life with Him. Jesus had no sin. The reason that He was born, came to live here on earth, died, and lived again, was because of God's love for us.

i don't feel that any soul is evil .. the actions of man may be perceived as such but the soul itself without the material want for power would not be
therefore the actions of each man would be judged by himself i feel taking into account reason , surroundings , illness affecting the mind etc
and as we all know Hitler was known to have mental problems and as a soul would not have these , he would be judging himself with a clear head so to speak and knowing his actions were wrong
i don't feel this would take 60 years in our time or that of spirit

Ya know what.. according to the Christian belief.. Hitler had the chance to redeem himself upon his death. If he asked Jesus for forgiveness, and truly meant it.. then his soul would have been cleansed and he would have been allowed into heaven. Think about that for a minute.

Not unless he was truly sorry for what he did..and I do not believe the soul is a consruct of the brain...I believe it exists in a continuous cycle..passing from one earthly body to the next as death and birth occur...

The question is accademic, he shot himself, did not have time to repent, but in the scenerio you give, he would still not be able to repent because it takes a conscious will to do so, and actions to prove it. Its all very well saying you are sorry, but real repentance is turning from the things that keep you from God, "faith without works is dead." "By their fruits you shall know them."

Hitler is one of the very few that was totally unredeemable in any religion. If you want proof of total evil just look at what he did and said. The only thing we can ever say in his favor is that he did not procreate.
